Well built. Great purchase.
Quality well built intermediate board. Purchased for my 10 year old grandson last Christmas and still going strong. He loves it and adapted to it almost immediately. I’m impressed how well it has held up and more importantly how well he has taken care of it. Cheaper boards do not hold up to even moderate use. I would purchase again. Don’t overlook this board.

Perfect gift
My daughter is 7 years old and loves her hoverboard. Her favorite part is the lights on the wheels, they change or stay the same. The battery lasts awhile too.

Buyers beware, warranty not honored, terrible response to my situation.
I purchased the "Hover-1 Dream" for my son on December 7, 2024 for Christmas. It did arrive on time, and brand new. After opening the box, I plugged it in for it's initial charge, which ended up taking around 3 hrs. I packaged it back up, wrapped it and put it in the closet with all the other gifts. Fast forward to late March when upstate NY weather cleared enough for my son to take it out for the 1st time. We charged it again to make sure it was topped off after sitting in his room for 3 months, calibrated it, then took it outside to ride. Roughly 5min later it completely shut off from low battery. We charged it again, took it out again, and 8min later (I timed it), died again. I did this two more times with the same result, less than 8min. The battery is just no good and doesn't perform anywhere near the claimed operating time or range. So I reached out to support at Hover-1 explaining in detail including what I explained above here, and 16 days later got a generic response from them.Their reply seemed as if they didn't even read my message (which I didnt include here for length reasons), or care that I had one of their brand new products that wasn't working properly, because the person that responded said (exact copied text)..."Thank you for reaching out to Hover-1 Support. Please be advised, the manufacturer's warranty does not cover consumables. Batteries are consumable parts which degrade over time. Battery life also depends on what kind of weather the unit is driven in and for how long the unit is driven on a stretch. Excessive heat and overcharging can also result in decreased battery life.Thank You,Hover-1 Support".(all of which I am well aware of). I then explained AGAIN that I had only owned this for less than 4 months, that it was stored in my closet which is always between 66'-74', and that we didn't even get a chance to "consume" the battery as he never got more than 7-8 minutes of normal flat street riding (while he was getting a feel for it), in 55' weather. Combined ride times totaled 27min after the 4 attempts. It never overheated or experienced any "excessive heat", cold temperatures or misuse of any kind. We charged it and waited for the light to indicate a "full charge". I understand a used battery wouldn't be covered after a period of expected use, but this was just opened after sitting in the box for less than 4 months, had only been charge cycled 4 times, and never went beyond 7-8 minutes (I timed it so I would know what to expect for ride times) of normal casual 65lb kid riding before dying. They haven't responded back to me leading me to believe they just don't care and would rather give me a list of reasons of how their product COULD be damaged or misused, rather than reading my ACTUAL series of events, and HONORING a brand new DEFECTIVE item, and offering to take it back for an exchange, or replaced battery. That's all I wanted. Somewhere quality control either slipped this unit through the cracks, or the pack just had some bad cells, which they could have verified before I would have even expected a replacement to be sent back out to me. But nope! They clearly could care less after the sale, so beware, if your looking at this brand, keep in mind that if you got a defective product like me and many others have, you are likely going to get stuck with it and never get a resolution like a respectable business will offer. I have owned other brand hover boards scooters that we've used for the past 3 years, and still work perfectly after being charged, even after storage for most of the year. Hover-1, shame on you for brushing me aside and not standing behind your product, and shame on you for not responding as a respectable business/brand. We all know every now and then, within a mass amount of electronic devices there is going to be a bad one in the batch. How you handle that one is what makes a difference. I waited to post this in the hopes my response email to them wouldn't fall in deaf ears, and I will say I am VERY disappointed in how they handled, (didn't handle I should say) this issue. Had this hover board performed even close to its claimed run time/range, I would be leaving an excellent review right now instead of this negative one, and they don't even deserve the 1 star the review system requires.

Cool but you need to get used to it
Kids love it. It's adaptable to various ages. Battery runs out kind of quickly. It did do that rogue spinney thing everybody was warning about. It was scary but laughable too. Good thing my kid jumped off of it just in time and kept his balance.

Responsive seller
After a while hoverboard had balance problem, some parts broke inside. We requested refund, and seller did it. Before it broke, kids liked to ride it, it has beautiful design, bright color and smooth ride. We were sad that it broke down

Great hoverboard for inside or outside
My son really likes this hoverboard. It goes pretty far on a charge, and is quick enough for him both inside and outside. Charges easy, looks nice, has colored lights on the wheels and is easy to use. What more could you ask?

Great hoverboard
It goes 7 mph and that's actually fast! I used it for a go kart and it works. It's worth the money.

great fun
We bought this as a reward for good grades for our 10 year old son. We got the reward though. It has taught him coordination while giving him hours of fun playing with his friends. After falling from his bike a couple of years ago and breaking his elbow, he has been very hesitant to get back on the bike... the hover board changed all of that. He says himself that he feels more steady, the hover board has taught him how to maneuver and he's learning new tricks which build his confidence. Great fun.
