it broke
One of the outlet ports cracked right away when I was trying to remove a piece of black poly from it. I wrote to the company and they said they would sent a replacement. but it has not shown up. I did fix it with some epoxy and it seems to work OK. This might be good as a back up or for occasional use (what I had intended it for) Another issue I had was that the clip that holds the pivot pin (the pin at the far end of the handle form the grip end) came out and so the pin would come loose after a few pumps. I had some clips around. I may have messed up the clip when I took the thing apart to repair it. EDITJust tried to use it again and the crack is not sealed/and there is a new crack. in any event I'm just going to get a different one

Works well for priming a shallow well pump.
I've got a shallow (~13') irrigation well that loses prime a lot. I made an adapter with hardware store components so I could hook it up to the hose spigot attached to my well pump. It takes me about 2 minutes of continuous pumping (about a pump a second) to pull water all the way through the system. I've done this maybe 50 times so far and pump still looks like new.
