Play-Doh Slime Dino Crew Lava Bones Island Volcano Playset with HydroGlitz Eggs and Mix-ins, Dinosaur Toy for Kids 4 Years and Up, Non-Toxic

The media could not be loaded. I bought this early on in September as a Christmas present for my son. We opened and put it together on Christmas day. It is complete junk. It doesn't work at all. The slime just gets stuck and you can't get ir out. It does come out of the volcano or the dinosaur at all. Total junk waste of money. Glad I didn't spend alot on it.

Caution, this "toy" is an hour of work for about 2 minutes of "fun". The setting up was fairly simple once you figured out what goes where. The directions are completely useless, just look at the picture on the box and save the time trying to interpret. However, the slime is so thick and sticky it was impossible to do anything with it. It does not "flow like lava" from the volcano. Good luck getting it to come up and out. Because of the consistency it took a good 5 minutes or more to get it up the tube. That's if the turning part was actually functional. Once a blob arrived to the top it was too sticky and just created a bubble without falling out. My kids had to start pulling it out. Good luck with that since it just sticks to your hands instead. The tree/dino part on the side was ok when that works. Except the dino is full of cracks and it just goes all over. We even had some coming out of the bottom of the toy, I'm pretty sure that's not supposed to happen. For the cleaning instructions, it looked like you simply turn it upside down. Ha. Maybe if you hold that position for several hours. I ended up using various items to scrape and pull sticky goop out but there was still a lot left behind. My 6 year old even said, whoever made this toy is mean because it's not fun. He's right. I'm sorry to say this was a one time deal and we probably won't be doing it again. Complete waste of money and a Christmas gift.

Parents - this is Play-Doh SLIME. Like a chump, I was NOT paying attention to that fact and just saw something dinosaur related and bought it. Couldn't blame Grandma, couldn't blame Santa - IT WAS ALL ME who broke the slime ban in our household. It's so gross. The kid absolutely loves it though and the toy IS pretty cool. Just please don't ambush yourself like I did.

It's a fun little play set, kids will love it. But it doesn't come with (and probably won't work with) the regular Play-doh compound. It's only slime, the kind that is kinda sticky and leaves your hands feeling grossly wet. But if you like that type of thing, then it's fine. I don't care for slime. The only real problem with this is that it can be difficult to clean. You need to set it upside down to drain it, if you want to reuse as much slime as possible, and either run tons of water through it or wipe it down with paper towels. But it is pretty fun.

Great gift for child at age 4

I purchased this for my 7 y/o. I didn't like that there were very few instructions for assembly and how to play with the toy. There are parts of the toy that are actually in the slime, and I wasn't aware of that and assumed they were missing. The slime volcano doesn't exactly function as I expected. This is a messy toy, so you have to supervise while they play with it. Overall, I feel like Play-Doh should stick to Play-Doh. I purchased this item as a Daily Deal at a discounted price; otherwise, I would probably have been more disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. We loved this toy. The red slime came perfect but one of the gold slime came too sticky. We added baking soda and fixed that. We know how to make slime so that wasn’t an issue. My son has been playing for hours. I highly recommend it.

This product is so frustrating! First, I thought the dinosaur's eyes were missing. After a couple days, we found them wedged in the playset. It was so hard to get them out. I guess they must have been in one of the slime containers and went unnoticed. Second, cleaning the thing is awful. As an adult, it took me a very long time to get it "good enough." You could try to rinse it out, but then you would waste A LOT of slime. The parts I expected to be removable, are not. So, you have to reach in, try to pull out the slime. Set it in various positions to let it settle where you can reach. Try again. There's no waiting to clean it. If you put it off, the slime will dry. My son likes the playset, but he can only play with it when we have enough time to spend to clean it afterwards. The volcano doesn't work very well either. Two stars instead of one because I had a great deal on it.
