Ghostek Atomic Slim Designed for iPhone 12 Pro Max Case with Protective Metal Bumper Made of Super Tough Lightweight Military Grade Aluminum Alloy, iPhone 12 Pro Max 5G (6.7 Inch) (Brushed Aluminum)

Right off the bat, I ordered a Prismatic version of this case and Amazon shipped the Black one but regardless, it does not change the fact that this case is a winner.So, here is what I feel about this case, its a SOLID, GOOD LOOKING, case. I personally prefer cases with tough built quality and some heft to it plus solid protection to my $1000+ iPhone ... this case ticks all those boxes for me.Pros1 - A very good looking cases (can be subjective but if you are reading this review, you must have found it to be looking or else you will be looking elsewhere)2 - The aluminium frame along with rubber (I guess its TPU) material, makes it easier to hold, gives solid protection all around and makes it slightly easier to put on and take off the case from the phone.3 - The transparent back is really solid one and unlike some other brand, its does not feel cheap at all. How it will hold over time with scratches, yellowing, remains to be seen but I guess scratches are unavoidable so as long as it does not turn yellow over time, I will be really happy.4 - Ghostek has a proprietary Advanced R7x Shock Technology that Withstands Drops from 12 FT. Now, I haven't tested this claim and neither I wish to but it does give me some peace of mind knowing that my phone is well protected.5 - The raised lips around front screen and the camera module definitely provides those scratch protection. In my opinion, every case maker should implement this.6 - The metallic buttons feel really clicky and have good feedback while using them.Cons1 - The aluminium frame will definitely wear over the time and unlike a real leather patina, it will look ugly2 - While the metallic frame will provide a great drop protection but once dropped, the frame will be damaged permanently.3 - I don't like like how the cut out for lightning port is, the cutout actually extends slightly over the rear part of iPhone. Also, if it was slightly more smoother, it would have been better experience. This is nit-picking but it is what I feel.4 - It increases the weight the already heavier iPhone 12 Pro Max. I don't mind it but your experience may vary so please do consider this.I have seen reviews stating that metallic frame causes cell network to suffer a bit, but I haven't experience this.

I carry two iphone 12 pro's. One for the USA and one for the UK. I bought the US phone first and ordered an Apple case which was about $35 as I recall. It fit well and was compact for as long as it lasted. After a year, the outer "covering" began to tear and come loose in several areas. I had bought a Ghostek for my UK phone shortly after the Apple product. It is still going strong and works fine with the magnetic charger. In addition it has a kickstand which is a nice option. The Ghostek case I'm reviewing now was to replace the Apple case which was disappointing to say the least! It was about $10 and is far superior with the aluminum case reinforcment. Apple may be able to produce a good phone, but the cases are junk!

This case is fantastic! It does add a little bit of weight to the phone but I like it. It makes it feel more substantial and definitely makes it feel heavy duty. The color is beautiful and the clear back lets you see the beauty of your iPhone. no, it doesn't have MagSafe magnets built into it but I have absolutely no problem using my MagSafe charger. No, I'm not going to be able to pick up my phone and swing it around the room by the cord of the MagSafe charger but it has no problem attaching to the back of the phone and staying put even while I'm talking on it. I know versions of this case for newer phones have the MagSafe magnets built-in but I think it takes away from the beauty of the phone in the case. I love this case! And considering it was less than $10 for my iPhone 12 Pro it was a steal! Considering going back on and purchasing the red one. Probably my favorite case and this is coming from someone with around two dozen cases for my iPhone 12 Pro. This thing rocks.

So i havae this case for now my wife's Iphone 11 pro max, and due to the design of the phone (more round edges) griping it for me was a bit weird, i felt it would slip out of my hand easier, loved everything about it except that feeling....with the newer iphones this is a non issue as the more rectangular design helps me grip it with a more secure feeling....i think its one of the best cases out there that dont make your very expensive and luxurious phone feel cheap....protection is very nice....i have it on my note 20 ultra and that one has take a fall or two and no problems so far. All in all a well thought out case that i think is worth the cost of admission, took one star off cause i think the one thing it would make it even bette ris a bit more rubberize material on the sides where u grip it.

Cheaply made, I do not recommend this product.

I always found it odd that I would chose a specific color for my iphone and then cover it up with a case. This time, I wanted a clear case to show off that color. But what I like about this case is that it also is very pretty on the borders, it's not too slick, and it's still very slim, but seems decently protective (I haven't dropped the phone to test how protective).
