I have a Spalding and need for a ball with better look and can play outdoor, this one is great! my 5 year old girl love it, it bounce well, not like the previous brand I bought, and the purple color make her fascinated. Slightly tacky feel will reduce the ball slippage when shooting or dribbling. We took it to MyGym, everyone love it. Second thought might have to purchase another diffent style in the very near future! 😊 It makes a spectacular gift for kids and probably beyond, No kidding.

just know you need to inflate the ball. it is very pretty.

I'm a ball snob, love my Wilson Evolution 29.5in composite leather ball. It's the gold standard. I wanted to find the size 4 equivalent, and bought two of these. They are excellent. Sticky grip like the Wilson, though obviously not as soft and the grooves are a little deeper.Overall I'm very happy with this ball, it's like a smaller version of the high end balls the adults use.

All I can say is my 11year old grandson LOVED this basketball for his birthday. Nice quality and heavy duty and colorful.
