Purchase was for an English class studying the Fitzgerald classic. This definitely works. There are drawings of the early 1920s, including mostly women's fashions but a few with men too...Also there is a drawing of women in golf! Yes, Jordan is finally drawn! If you are considering spending the $3.99 for your riso or photocopier, just do it. The kids love to color and there is a bonus....the images give a little background on the fashion. Yes, buy this. Best $3.99 you can buy as a teacher!

I love these coloring books that have vintage fashions, so much fun! Most of the fashion books are women from the 1800's, so this book was a nice change.

I enjoyed coloring the images in this coloring book so much that I ordered a second copy. I like the faces, the clothes and the movement. I like the pictures to have some background details but not so many that the main image has to compete with them. I found that in this book, there are just enough background details to adequately frame the pictures. My only criticism is that there are pictures printed on each page front and back. Unfortunately, this allows bleed-through when you use certain mediums. It would be so much better if there was only one picture per page, but I suppose that is a matter of cost. However, if you choose colored pencils and forego markers and gel pens, you will experience far fewer problems. Even considering this drawback, I still like this coloring book and I recommend it. I actually considered still giving it 5 stars, but to be fair, I will subtract one star because of the problems associated with the pictures being printed on each page front and back.

It was great to see a new coloring book from Tom Tierney. I've colored his other fashion coloring books many times and will, no doubt, order this one again to color as well.The illustrations of the fashions are very well done, the artwork is excellent, the drawings are large and easy to color. It was interesting seeing the fashions and reading the brief text about them.I was mystified by some of the backgrounds--but that in no way deterred my enjoyment of this fine coloring book, as my main interest was the figures wearing the fashions and those are clearly and concisely drawn.Looking forward to more coloring books from Mr. Tierney.

i always lliked coloring ever since i could hold a crayon. for kicks i went on line looking for adult books. i was floored at the selection . i thought i was the only oldster who colored. at a check out the clerk trying to be friendly said oh are these for your grandchldren. trying to get out of the conversation i said yes, but he kept it up. i was embarrased to say it was for me. im glad to know adults like to color. and the selection is great.

The paper used 4 the pictures is a waxy texture and is very hard to get the color to not be streaky

Fun Drawings - Am enjoying coloring the dancers and people from the Roaring 20's. The only improvement was not to have a picture on every page. In a couple of cases, my coloring rubbed off on the page across from it. Not too much but just a little. Really am enjoying the variety of dancers and costumes. My imagination is running wild with the colors. Some of the costumes are very complex and have plenty of variety for your imagination. Loving it. The vendor shipped quickly and gets 5 stars.

A cool book. Pics are one to a page. Again, I have many T.Tierney books, but slightly disappointed with them. I find many designs slightly repetitive. I find with Tom's books they are not very intricate in design like some other artists so you lose a little along the way. In saying that, its great to know a little history, doesnt hold much in this one, and adds to my collections.

Good coloring book, however would have liked more detail in the pictures, eg backgrounds behind the figures, to finish off the overall page. Paper could be better, as previous ink drawing bleeding through onto page that you're coloring in some places.
