Great with a few catches
First off, I use mine every day and love it. It works great for me. There are a couple of downsides that are inherent to the Z Fold in general though, and they could be deal breakers for some people. If you have a massive control screen, this is going to get in the way of that. The phone is massive, and so is the charger. This also means that if you don't have a center vent, you're forced to either clamp the phone basically under the steering wheel, or on the passenger side of the car. The suction cup attachment seems to be good quality, but I'm not trusting my 1800 dollar phone to any suction cup arm, no matter how well done it is.Charging speed is fine. The Z Fold 3 is not capable of very fast wireless charging, so the 15W output is acceptable here. The volume controls and power button are on the charging side of the phone. When it's in the charger, you can not use these. If you flip the phone around, the charger has nothing to detect, and will not clamp onto the phone. If you don't have a way to externally control the volume, you're going to have to take the phone out every time you want to.I control my volume via Bluetooth on my regular volume knib on my car, and have the phone set to never turn off on its own, so it's not a problem for me. I can definitely see it being a problem for someone else though.I'm glad I bought it. I use it all the time when I'm traveling for work and the rental cars don't have navigation. Just be aware of what you're getting. Most of the issues are issues with all Zfold 3 chargers, not just this one.

Great use for Samsung Galaxy Fold series phones
I purchased this to use with my Samsung Galaxy Fold 3 phone and I am pleased to say that it works very well. I especially like where the phone release button is. I had another mount by another manufacturer that placed a release button on both sides of the mount. I found myself inadvertently releasing the phone if I placed my hand on the side to stabilize it. The button on this one is well placed to avoid accidental release and dropping of the phone. The Qi charge works according to the input you give it... so, if I plug it into my car's USB-A port, it charges on a normal rate, but if I plug it into one of the Quick Charge cigarette lighter type plugs, it responds and charges my phone more quickly.I am currently using mine with the vent mount which works well. The stabilizing kickstand under the vent mount could be a bit stiffer as it sometimes will click down to the next support level due to the weight of the phone (and this mount is made for heavy devices to begin with, so a slight oversight on their part). But, it is certainly not enough to worry about for me (and nothing that a little glue couldn't fix if it did bother me that much).Note that this mount will NOT hold the phone in portrait mode, only in landscape mode. It will hold it in landscape mode open or closed.Overall a great choice for the Fold series and I am happy I got it.

Was good while it lasted. 21 months
was good while it lasted, 21 months, and the bottom plastic support bracket broke so no longer usable with air vent mount. unfortunately with my material on the top dashboard, the suction cup adapter does not hold.

It's ok, but only lasted 5 months. Value is not there.
I purchased this to use with my Z Fold 3. At first I was happy even with it's cons, because it's one of the few that can hold that phone. I've had it for 5 months, and it hasn't worked right for about 2 months, and I'm sure it's not going to last another month. It's has two major pros, and a few cons:Pros:1) It fits the Z Fold 3, although there is also a con as you'll see below.2) Suction cup is strong and holds very well to the dash.3) It really does fast wireless charging, as long as you have the right adapter and the phone is in the correct orientation. Other similar chargers, and even one by this same brand, says it does fast wireless charging, but does not. Honestly, this shouldn't be a pro because it's supposed to do that, but because multiple others I've tried don't when they say they do, it really is a huge plus so I'm giving credit.Cons:1) Although it does hold the Z Fold 3, it only works when the phone is in a landscape orientation where the volume/power buttons are positioned down, or it won't close/charge. (so no portrait orientation). This means that if you want it to charge and use Bluetooth to connect to you car radio at the same time, you can't access the side buttons without taking the phone out of the holder, which is a pain when driving.2) The phone doesn't sit square on the holder. You have to hold the phone level while the arms are closing on the phone or it will be lopsided (because of the indents for the volume/power buttons on the phone).3) The arm with the suction cup only lasted a couple months before the cup came loose inside the holder. Something must have broken in this mechanism because now the whole arm is allowed to move around, even though it's still suctioned to the dash, so the phone will not be kept still while driving.4) Finally, when it powers on starting about 2 months ago, the arms/brackets that automatically open/close on the phone sort of initialize, and when doing so makes a loud pop and you can see the arms jump. Once you put the phone on it, it does close on the phone so that is still working for now, but when you press the button to open the arms to take your phone, the arms once again make the loud pop again. Something inside is broken and I know it's only got another month or so of life in it. Multiple things are broken after 3 months. It's a device you install once, then just put your phone in it so I know I did not do anything to break it.I would probably just accept most of the cons except that now it's broken and isn't going to last, and I have to spend more money to replace it. I can't just pay $50 every 3-4 months for a new phone charger. I'll add that I did order another version of the same type of charger from the same company Dearhot, and it's one of the ones that says it does fast wireless charging, but absolutely does not. I even used the same adapter and usb cable as the one in this review which does fast wireless charging, but it does not work. It's annoying paying so much money for stuff that just does not work. I returned that one, and if I could, I'd return this one. Too much money for something that isn't going to last. Disappointed.

It works! Hold the phone and can be adjusted to be in view.
I could not be happier - this suctioned to the dash, and the adjustments brought it right into my normal vision. The charger works great, the suction works great - ah heck - it all works great. A few notes:1) Read the instructions - I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out how to mount the phone. It is grabbed when power it applied. Yep - RTFM2) The 'release button' to let go of the phone is on the bottom, and when turning the phone on (Samsung Fold 3), it is easy to hit, releasing the phone. Just gotta keep that in mind!Other than those minor caveats, this really works fantastic. It is very well engineered, the fit and finish excellent, and the suction cup really holds well. Strongly recommend!
