Oregon Red Tart Cherries In Water Pitted Cans, 14.5 Ounce (Pack of 12)

I like that I can get these on Amazon. Can't find them at any stores where we live at. These cherries are wonderful in pie or cobbler. Always have them in my pantry. They are pricey because of thr short growing season cherries have. Some things you just have to bite the bullet and splurge!!

I have been unable to find these cherries in any store anywhere near my home. The last time I was able to buy them was during a visit to a Calabash, NC (a long commute) grocery store with my sister-in-law. I've been fortunate to find other food items on Amazon, so I looked for the Oregon Red Tart Cherries and thankfully found them. Since the cherries are packed in water and unsweetened (as clearly stated), they can be used to make a perfect pie using a cherished recipe.

The only way to get a decent cherry pie. My local grocery stores carry only the premade (too sweet and gooey) pie filling and the canned dark sweet cherries. Never see pie cherries at the fruit stands- plus, who needs the hassle of pitting? These are perfect and I now have enough for 6 pies

I really like these tart cherries, they make a great pie or turnover. They came in a prepackaged box. But darned if I didn’t get two very dented cans out of the 12. Having only 10 usable cans makes the cost per can pretty high.

Outstanding flavor. We make our pies from scratch and these cherries are part of our holiday tradition every year…and on Birthdays!

Have used this brand exclusively for years for cherry pie and cherry cobbler. Beat any I tried before I got smart and only used this brand.

Terrific for pie filling. Seems pricey though as are all products now days.

These cherries are excellent for cherry pie. I cannot find them locally so I ordered a case :)
