This kit is excellent and my granddaughter loves them! It comes with everything you need to make these adorable fairy lanterns, and more! It comes with a watered down glue for attaching the fairies and glitter. NOTE; the glitter is very fine. Be sure to put newspaper or something on the table before making these. I did use a glue gun to attach the flowers, butterflies and ribbon. The silver butterflies were purchased separately and did not come with this kit. I suggest adult supervision. This was a really fun experience with my granddaughter and she cherishes these. The remote has several options for colors and has a timer for 4 or 8 hours. AAA batteries are not included. These came out so nice that I'm ordering more for my other granddaughters. It's a great project and a fun bonding experience. I wasn't expecting everything this kit came with, for the price. I've seen some reviews that say the instructions aren't included. The instructions are in the description of the item. I included them in the photos. I highly recommend this for children 6+ with adult supervision. You won't be disappointed!

Adorable craft to make! 2 glass jars with lots of accessories to decorate. Glue and sponge brushes also. Easy to follow instructions. 2 large tea lights (batteries not included) with 2 remotes that make lights change colors inside the jar. Great gift to make or give as a gift.

These were really pretty when they were done but it was a TASK getting them done. Box said ages 4+ but there is NO WAY a 4 yr old could do this. My nearly 8 year old had trouble and I found them more tedious than difficult. LOTS of glue and give motor skills required. I also found my hot glue gun to be much more effective than the glue they provide, which was good for the interior glitter and little else.

This was another Mother's Day gift that my daughter got for my wife, so they could have a craft project to work on together. I have to be honest I was a little bit leery when I was looking at ordering them. But after seeing everything and seeing them put together I think it's a great project gift. My 6-year-old daughter was able to do hers all by herself while my wife sat next to her and worked on hers. It comes with detailed instructions on two different ways that you can put them together. They come with two jars lights for the inside, glitter for the inside, paper and glue to put on the outside for effect, and four fairies to apply to the jars and then plenty of butterflies and flowers to decorate the outside of the jars. It might be a little bit messy but it's a whole lot of fun and it's definitely a great value for the money. The size is a small mason jar
