Q: Does the product arrive frozen solid? How long does it take to arrive? How is it packaged for shipping?

Yes, this arrives frozen. It is packed and shipped in custom coolers with dry ice. We ship using ground transit, which can take anywhere from 2-5 days depending on your location. We ship Monday and Tuesday of each week, so packages are usually delivered on Thursdays or Fridays. Orders that are received after noon MST on Tuesdays will be held for shipment until the next Monday. Hopefully this is helpful. Thank you for your interest and have a nice day!

Q: What kind of green chiles? these are are labeled as hot.. but compared to what? other green chiles? usually hatch green chiles are very mild..

Being from that part of New Mexico, they’re definitely Hatch Chile’s. But I wouldn’t call them hot. They are more medium heat, but good quality and easy to use in the individual packets.

While everyone has a different threshold of what they consider hot, As a gringo with a low tolerance for heat I would call it medium to low.

Q: Why do you have to cook to 165 degrees?
