I've been buying 10oz cans of another brand from local mega mart for the last few years, but they stopped carrying them. All I've been able to find locally is 4oz cans of whole or just diced/chopped. I don't like the diced because I often find pieces of the skins in them and I also like to have control of how big or small the pieces are diced. These are great. I usually use 2 of the 10oz cans for many of my recipes, so I have a bit leftover for other things like breakfast burritos. Great flavor and really nice, thick, meaty peppers. To add more flavor to the dishes I cook with these I often sub some of the liquid in the recipe for some of the liquid from the can. Great for green chili mac and cheese!

Delicious. Use many ways.
Cans are always dented, probably due to weight when handled. So what. Peppers are great. Cans are packed full. Will reorder.

Dented cans
The cans are dented beyond belief. Definitely stuff that couldn’t be sold in grocery stores. One was leaking when it arrived and two others couldn’t be opened with a normal can opener. Don’t waste your money.

A Great Pantry Item for “What am I going to cook for dinner”
I love mild green cheeses just keep large cans of these as a pantry item. While buying fresh and roasting your own is great and I do it often it requires planning ahead and many times I’m just trying to figure what to cook in 30 minutes with a big fuss. These are great...open a can make Chile rellanos, huevos ranchero with green chile, green chile cheese enchiladas, salsa whatever. You can’t go wrong with onion, green Chile and some cheese, a tomato as a base for whatever...I like the 12 oz cans because little cans are just irritating. If you don’t need 12 oz you can store the chiles you don’t use along with their juice in a glass jar in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them. I bought 12 cans because it was cheaper and I didn’t want to hassle with reordering.

Good fat pods full of flavor.
Good fat whole green chilies full of flavor. Made great rellenos and green chili stew so far. Not as good as fresh or what I used to put up in my freezer but close enough. Better quality by far than most brands.

Presentation
We have a special- Brie/cream cheese type dip we use these chili’s for. Due to Covid restrictions it is impossible to find these Chili’s on grocery store shelf. So I ordered a case (12 cans) to share. Every single can I received, in a sealed case, was dented and damaged- over $67. So badly damaged you cannot use a can opener on them.

The quality of the chillies, exceptionally delicious.
I am from California, living in Florida. Very hard to find these Chiles in Florida. I made a Chille Relleno casserole . Out of this world. They are so 😋 delicious.

Economical basic canned whole green chilis
I've used these many times. Not organic but good flavor for eggs, peanut butter and green chili sandwiches, etc! I get the large size re-usable poly can lids to keep the can in the fridge until used up.
