BerryBreeze BB100 Refrigerator Deodorizer and Food Life Extender - Discontinued Model

Moved and lost the first one I purchased, had to buy another one very good in helping your food stay fresh longer in the refrigerator i would recommend berry breeze it do what it suppose to do in keeping food fresh, sometimes am in hurry and I will put everything in refrigerator tell the weekend when I can separate it properly and its still fresh as if I just bought it.

I originally purchased this refrgerator deodorizer many years ago at a local discount store (Marshall's) for around $16 bucks.That unit worked very well in that it's high output and really gets the job done of keeping the refrigerator smelling fresh. The only drawback was that this is battery operated and uses 4 "D" size cells so that makes it a bit bulky and in that original unit I purchased, the batteries would only last one month. Not too surprising though considering the high output of this unit.I ended up leaving that unit with some family members I was staying with at the time with the idea of purchasing a new one at some point for my own use.Once I did decide to get another one for myself I wasn't able to locate any locally and when I searched online the only identical units I could find were only available in Europe, mainly in the UK.Because I was pretty satisfied with the original unit I had, I decided to just wait and occasionally check online to see if it would ever make it back to the U.S.Well here we are, it's once again available (although through a different supplier/name now) I did hold off originally though because the price was $49.95 each or there abouts, and that was a bit more than I was wiling to pay for it.Eventually the price came down and I purchased it on sale for $19.95 and I'm happy to report that it works every bit as well as the original unit that I had many years ago.Actually they have improved it. This new unit lasts for a full 3 months on one set of batteries!Anyhow I would definitely recommend this unit if you need something to help keep your refrigerator fresh or even a closet or any other small space. This is the best refrigerator deodorizer I've used and I've had 4 or 5 different types over the years.

I already had one of these devices and have had it for years. We got a second refrigerator for the garage & bought this for it. This little Berry Breeze really works in extending the shelf life of fruits and vegetables in your refrigerator; it also helps eliminate any odors in your fridge. I run our on rechargeable D-cell batteries & they run a long time on a charge, so it doesn't take much power.

I purchased the first refrigerator deodorizer in 2018 and with the exception of occasional battery changes, it has worked flawlessly. The fridge maintains a clean smell and vegetables really do appear to last longer.The fact that there are no filters to change is another major plus. A solid five star item.

refrigerator broke down in really hot summer day, discovered after few days out of town, meat was rotting inside and it left a horrible smell inside. it was lingering for over 1 month. I have tried baking soda, coffee beans, completely cleaned the inter-surface and the smell was still lingering. I found a video on a youtube and I gave this product a try. It killed all the fowl smell and whatever that causing the smell in the freezer that was invisible is now turned into a orange colored gunk. It can be removed easily because it is now visible. it saved my refrigerator and now I can store food in it again. I wish there is a low voltage outlet inside so that I can save the batteries.

Tried to contact company 3 different email addresses and a phone number.The berry breeze seems to always be in standby, blinking.I haven't noticed any difference in my fridge after about 3 wks, so I'm not sure yet.The company may be a scam. The emails all go to that site saying the domain is up for sale and then when you hit something on that page it's trying to sell you diet pills. And the phone says circuits are busy.So for those reasons I didn't know how to rate it.

Last one of these I had only broke after about 10 years, so definitely worth the $. I have 2 in my frig, they are sooooo helpful in controlling mold. Could be better on odors, but there's always baking soda. I would recommend everyone get one. My other one had an insert about how to change batteries! This one did not, but that's why my other broke! You have to be careful because of condensation which will rust the components if you transfer repeatedly from inside frig to out. That's what happened, components rusted where I could not get to them. Too bad about so many batteries needed, but still worth the food saved IMO.

Seems to keep food longer/fresher in the fridge. Is larger than I expected but tucks away in the back, uses a lot of big batteries, and emits a strong strange odor (probably like ozone). But I’m keeping it.

This unit really does work! My produce is lasting a whole lot longer than it used to -- honest. No more refrigerator smell either. I like that I can always tell whether or not it's working (if batteries are good the little light in front flashes green periodically, and when the batteries are getting low, and need changing, the light turns red). How long the batteries last depends on the quality of batteries used. I don't get nearly as much out of batteries that come from the dollar store so I purchased the more expensive ones and it's been a few months now and I haven't had to change them yet.

My brother told me to get one... and I can’t believe how well it works... but it does.After a month of use it went from 4 to 5 stars. This thing is unbelievable!Update... After months of using this I’m suggesting everybody gets on. I purchased one for another friend already. I really can’t believe how much longer vegetables last and even pineapple keeping for 2 weeks!

Wonderful idea, works like a charm. I've been using it for a few weeks now and stuff that I would normally be throwing out ( composting !) is still in good condition. My only hesitation is the unit requires 4 D cell batteries... that seems like a LOT of energy... but...if the batteries last for a long time, maybe the savings in extended food life is worth the energy??? Just be sure dispose of the batteries safely at a hazardous waste drop off point.

Keeps fruit fresh but it also makes my fridge smell like hydrogen peroxide.. I am pretty confident it is a ozone generator so you probably don't want to breath in the air it makes. I keep it in the produce drawer away from my drinking water.
