Hero okay - Heroine OTT
I honestly nearly DNF this story. The first few chapters were pretty bad, but the story evened out a little so I continued reading.Bree is twenty-five and is ridiculously immature and over the top. She overreacts to everything and constantly throws temper tantrums. Julian Masters, is in his late thirties and raising his two children after his wife died. He’s abrupt and judgmental on occasion, but when he got mad it was usually for a good reason. Both of these characters needed to work on their patience and speak to each other before making assumptions and yelling. The writing style is a little different than what I’m used to and there are a number of typos/missing words throughout the story. I liked Julian’s mom and his best friends and I also liked the relationships that Bree was able to develop with Julian’s children. The main character’s age difference never causes any problems. I’ve had dogs and cats all my life and they have never acted like that. The story is told from dual POVs and has a happy ending.

Hot and sweet!
A true love story. I really enjoyed this book, the characters really worked well together. I liked the email parts of it a lot and the spice Julian brought to the story. His serious, cranky-pants attitude at times was balanced well with Bree's carefree, happiness. I thought it was a great second book in this world and done well considering how the first book had to end. I could read this book multiple times and I do not usually reread books. It was sweet and HOT! Lots of good sex scenes as well as romantic moments. It was't hard to love these two together. I felt like I was waiting for some disastrous thing to pull them apart but it wasn't as big as I thought which was very nice for a change. I loved how out of control he felt about her and didn't lie to himself about it for too long. I loved how she took charge with the kids and the bond she formed with Willow. I loved how she made Julian come out of his shell and break the guilt he'd been carrying around. Just a great, all around, feel good type of book. Very enjoyable.

So many errors
The storyline was good, but there were so many errors. I loved the hero and heroine but it was really frustrating to constantly stumble upon typos and other issues such as keeping names right. The dogs name being Millie and then later on Tillie for example. Would probably be 4 stars if it wasn’t for that.

5 Star Perfection!!!!
Another brilliantly put together masterpiece by the artist of words TL Swan. I totally devoured this book, I could not put it done!!!TL Swan has an amazing ability to create characters with depth and substance that you just want to know more about. You can tell she does her homework and leaves nothing in the tank when she writes and gives her everything for her readers and for that I am truly blessed and forever one of her number ONE fans!!!!!Julian is such an intense character and loved to see him switch from hard to soft with both his children and Brielle.I loved Brielle's line 'Dancing with an honest devil is so much more appealing than sleeping with a lying god'.This book delves into some very personal and hard subject matters but they are portrayed and written about with honesty and class but still making sure that they are not just swept over. You will laugh, you will cry but most of you to will fall in love with the characters and the story and if you haven't read anything else from this author before, I suggest you don't hesitate and get onto it now!!

I liked that it wasn't the same story as usual!
I really enjoyed most of this book. I enjoyed the banter between the characters. I loved how Brielle interacted with the children. I appreciated how Willow's (the daughter) storyline played out. It was different but realistic with teenage problems. I liked that Bree stood up for herself and her dreams. She wasn't whiny or throwing a tantrum. I loved how she stood up for the kids, no matter what.IMy complaints are the fact that we had to keep reading the deceased wife's headstone several times! But we never learn her truth. We have Julian's guilty conscience about her death, but we don't ever know her true motives and her thoughts. I didn't understand the point of seeing the headstone so many times. My other complaint is that so much of the book contained sex scenes. I am not being a prude, but when it is taking up more pages for sex than conversations, I begin to get bored with the repetitive nature of the act and the same descriptions over and over again.I would say I will re-read this book and I do recommend it.
