Emphasis on WASHABLE.
I learned when my own children were young that cheap markers were never worth the price. The Crayola name is dependable for longer resistance to drying out, vibrant colors, and in the case of these washable markers, REALLY WILL WASH OUT. I have them on hand for when the grandchildren are visiting and appreciate that they have not dried out from one visit to the next, lasting for a number of years now.

Yes. Washable. Very very very washable.
The toddler loves these and so do ma and pa, and grand ma, and paw paw, grandi, grandy, gramps, and grandpa (no joke). The wee'un can draw all over everything and everyone and it washes off without a problem, with the notable exception of the dogs. We run a rescue for yorkshire terrier-pitbull crosses and find that the color stays in the hair of the ones with a sable coat. Of course it washes off of the chinchillas and ferrets, so we're lucky to find these. The toddler hasn't tried them on the palm cockatoos yet, but I suspect they won't show up on the feathers.

There were new and fresh with lots color. These were the best and not dried out. They are lasting and very washable.
