Really the best
I've tied flies for many years and gotten by with the old style friction pliers for hackle. I thought I'd give these a try and am glad I did. These work so much better than what I had been using I wondered what took me so long to try them. I'm glad I did.

Thought I didn't need this until I started tying smaller flies. Very nice.

It’s just ok. Doesn’t hold hackle quite firmly enough.
