Perfect fit. Exact replacement part
This tension adjustment motor was an exact fit for the part that I needed. I did not have the issue of a confined installation space on my elliptical machine that another reviewer had on theirs -- they had complained that the motor casing was bigger than the original and they had to file away some of the casing to make it work. This motor was the exact same as the original motor that I was replacing (see first photo).Everything works as it should again. I am happy.Installation on my machine had some screws that were difficult to access, but this motor is compatible with a wide variety of machines, so another buyer's experience could be easier or more challanging.

My model number and serial number were not listed
This is the correct tension motor for my Pro-Form 8.0 EX bike. I was very hesitant to purchase this because the only thing that matched is the numbers on the tension motor!!! However, I just got it put on and my bike is back in working order. My bike had no resistance and it just sounded like a motor was running inside and wouldn’t stop, there was also a popping noise that accompanied it. My model number is PFEX14914.0 serial number HH730G0001453. I bought the refurbished one. I haven’t used it but for a minute yet. I’ll keep ya posted as to buying the refurbished and letting y’all know how it holds up. The picture of the tension motor is of the broken one. I didn’t take a picture of the new one, didn’t think about it. Like I said I went with the P/N 193223 number that matched because I couldn’t find one anywhere else.

Fixed the issue
An old Nordictrack elliptical E 7.5 trainer bought for $100 continually made a whirring-clacking noise, and the tension did not adjust. This motor (apparently a motor and gear box unit) fixed the issue.

Wrong Part does not match original or part pictured!
Picture advertised matches my original part, but part in package does not physically match my original. Looks like a substituted part. It just will not work.Package has the correct part number 193223, but part inside has a different part number ZLJ2-4.Right voltage, but still will not work. Looks like someone put the wrong part in the package! This is my second replacement part, which is the wrong one as well and will not work either.Would not order this part. Amazon service was good and sent me

Does the job
It does what it’s supposed to do. However, It’s a bad design. It fixed the treadmill, but the same reason the original broke the replacement looks like it will fail soon enough. When it does I’ll order another, as opposed to a buying a new treadmill.

Excellent service but not quite right
This installation was for the Nordic Track GX2.7. The motor is the same except the housing has been changed. The motor on the left (square body) is the original and the motor on the right (rounded corner) is the replacement. The problem is that the replacement motor is too high and comes in contact with the flywheel. DO NOT PURCHASE EXTENDED WARRANTY ON MOTOR. You will have to file down corner of casing to make it clear the flywheel. It does work and once installed the bike runs with no problems. The service center at treadlife was very helpful and even offered to have it returned, but as they said this is the new replacement style and as I discovered the original square style motor is very expensive and hard to locate.

A good part for replacement
My Proform XP-70 has suddenly stopped the magnetic resisting, although disassembling was bit painful it enables to work again and this resistance motor works flawlessly. Many sellers posted this similar products at very different prices, but it looks no quality difference.
