Fully natural drink with electrolytes and all the energy you need
I am a busy dad and long-distance runner who always really enjoyed energy drinks when I was younger for their function and overall convenience. But over the years I have become more in tune with things I put in my body and so radically dialed back my consumption of energy drinks and most other sodas.I became aware of Tenzing on a recent trip to the UK, and discovering that it was available in the US, ordered a 4 pack to see what the fuss was about. What a find! The product is fully natural, in many cases using fruits and other natural ingredients in place of the functional chemicals. It contains electrolytes to keep you hydrated and very refreshing. So far I have use it before short training runs and as a mid afternoon pick me up and after long runs. I'll definitely be buying more!

Crisp and Mildly Sweet Natural Energy Drink
"Original Flavor" Tenzing is a mildly sweet, mildly carbonated energy drink with very short ingredient list composed entirely of "natural" ingredients; no chemicals listed. Taking a swig, I find the dominant flavor notes are lemon and green tea, with hints of berry. The aftertaste, on the other hand, is mostly tea, and dissipates fairly quickly without leaving any cloying sweetness. The caffeine, from green coffee, is listed as 80mg/8.4 flz, i.e., similar to a can of Red Bull.Tenzing provides a very stark contrast from your typical, highly sweetened energy drinks such as Red Bull, Monster and Rockstar, and particularly those that have an aggressive and deliberately artificial flavor profile. If you like lightly-sweetened sodas, Arnold Palmers, or similar drinks, Tenzing is definitely worth a try.

Not Bad
But not fantastic. It could stand to have more lemon or lime. Or both. The flavor is just a bit bland to me and my son as well. It does have much healthier ingredients than pop. I did notice a little energy after drinking it.

I didn't like the taste at all.
I am not a big energy drink person but I figured since this is supposed to be plant based, maybe it will be safer. I couldn't get through the taste. It taste like water and salt. I didn't like it, I couldn't drink it, I personally would not recommend these.

Contains beet sugar, which can cause digestive problems.
This energy drink contains 11 grams of beet sugar, which can cause all sorts of digestive issues such as lengthy bouts of soft stools, cramps, and diarrhea. I have no idea why the maker of this drink would use beet sugar instead of regular sugar. I would stay away from this product if you have a sensitive digestive system.

Not strong tasting, definitely has caffeine
I can't drink most energy drinks because they make me feel like I'm having a heart attack. Also, most of them just taste awful. This one definitely tastes better than things like Red Bull. I got the original variety, not the berry one, and it is more like a seltzer with some energy drink mixed in it. There is a similar flavor to other energy drinks, but nowhere near as strong or artificially sweet tasting. I can't place the exact flavors in this, but they're kind of herbal tasting and not overly sweet. Also, the carbonation isn't as strong as the others. This one says it has more natural ingredients in it, which is good, but realize that caffeine is still caffeine. The ingredients list beet sugar and lemon juice, but there are also other "natural flavorings" that they don't specify. It also has guarana, which most energy drinks also have -- this will also give you a buzz and is a natural energy source. This drink has more caffeine than a cup of coffee so it will definitely give you a buzz so don't drink them before going to bed. I don't know the difference between the caffeine from green coffee and regular coffee, but it feels pretty much the same. I don't get a huge crash from this, but I can feel when the effects have worn off. I tend to drink on in the early afternoon when I'm starting to feel drowsy. It helps keep me working throughout the rest of the day and then wears off by evening. The cans are the small size so they're easy to take with you. But don't let the size fool you into drinking too many at once because 80mg of caffeine is a lot if you aren't a big coffee or soda drinker, which I'm not. I don't typically drink caffeine in anything so I can have one of these occasionally when I need a bit of a boost. But I definitely won't drink one every day because I don't want my body to get used to having caffeine.

Refreshing, clean, energy.
I’ve been trying to cut back on the coffee and high-sugar sources of energy in 2021 and Tenzing might just help me pull it off. Pure refreshing taste with no sense of artificial flavoring or sugar high. It is 20 degrees outside and I’m on my indoor bike as I write this, but I’m already looking forward to having a cold Tenzing in the fridge for summer outdoor activities.

Excellent taste and energy
Mildly sweet and no aftertaste. Appreciate the natural ingredients. My 12 year-old son loves it. And yes I let him have just one daily.
