Sharp holds edge
This is a good slicer for its price holds edge and well built. Easy to sharpen when needed. The clever design gives it a stable platform for doing the job and helps to keep what your cutting free from staying on the blade after slicing..it will become your go to knife in the kitchen..

Amazing knife set. These are thin, lightweight knives meant for easily cutting through vegetables, such as onions, tomatoes, cabbage, potatoes etc. It’s not full tang making it very easy to hold and manoeuvre. Because of the thinness, the knife faces less resistance than thicker European style knives while slicing through. But since it’s thin, it can bend, so it’s not ideal for cutting open hard veggies such as pumpkin, and fruits such as water melon. However, these knives can easily dice into small pieces larger wedges of hard veggies. I think these can easily cut boneless chicken (but any other kind of meat or bone-in meat would probably need a heavier knife meant for meat). They are great for peeling veggies and fruit because they are really sharp. I bought this only because I have a whetstone to sharpen periodically. It may become dull fast (mine are still sharp after 2 months) if your cutting motion is perpendicular to the cutting board rather than angular. Coming to the price: They are priced more than 10 times higher than it’s actual cost, because of shipping and customs. It’s made in Thailand. And the branding Kiwi is etched on the knives. I recommend it if you can overlook the pricing. Since good quality nakiri knives are not that common in India, I decided to pay the extreme premium and buy.

Absolutely the best kitchen chef knife - used daily in my kitchen- A long term story
My wife tells me hands down, for a home kitchen these are her go to knives, and she uses no other. They are light, sharp and easy to handle and use daily in a home kitchen. We have expensive, creame de la creame sets of german and japanese made knives, but these are hands down the ones we turn to for home cooking. The price point on these are amazing, and so we also purchase these to given them away....
