Been using moxa (mugwort) for over 20 years as a practitioner on myself and my patients and got these for convenience because it's small cone size that will fit perfectly inside my moxa box instead of me breaking pieces and use it in the moxa box.Pros:- fits perfectly and good size- burns very easily and keeps the ashes compact as one piece until you tap it off in an ash tray or can- creates light smoke- has light moxa smell (could be pro or con depends)- burns around 15 minutesCons:- it does not create heat as well as my moxa stick- light smell (in my case I use moxa also as relaxation and opening up the orifice so I prefer stronger traditions smell)- cost is 3 time as high compare to my 10 long traditional moxa stick but I do order from my acupuncture supply store for license practioner.At the end I will stick to my moxa stick because better heat and smell and cost.For those that does not have local herbal supplier this will be convenient from the pros I listed above.

Well, I got this for my mom. She always go to the market to get some raw aijiu, and use it to smock on body to relief the pain. I feel this aijiu stick is more convenient for my mom. Works ok.
