Versatile
When I found myself out of town without the correct Kindle charger on a trip last spring I bought the relatively inexpensive iGo wall charger and several tips. Recently I looked for something for travel, preferably with a European plug, that could also charge my netbook computer. I called iGo several times -I agree that they are not good at answering the phone or returning calls. When I did talk to someone he was very helpful. He told me that I could not use my existing (A - style) tips with the netbook charger that I was interested in. He suggested the Max series, so I ordered this. The Max series has a separate cable that runs off the one used to power a computer and this smaller cable has the proper end for the A tips. The brick on this Max system is quite a bit heavier than the brick that came with my netbook. I have learned that netbooks use less power than full-sized laptop computers. As the point of my purchasing this package was to decrease my travel weight, I was disappointed with this. However, it can also be used on our laptops, unlike the iGo netbook charger. My original netbook brick needs a current converter to run on 220V, but the iGo one only needs a plug adapter (it can handle 100-240V), so the net weight will probably be about the same when using this internationally. The main complaint I have about this package is that it did not show which tips were included and it did not include the tip I needed for my netbook (but the ones we need for our laptops were included). I had to order the tip from iGo and I don't know if they will ship it out in time for me to get it (I tried calling, but was not able to talk to anyone. Their web site has said it was "released for shipping" since the moment I ordered it).The tips get stuck on the charger pretty hard. I am concerned that changing them too many times will cause something to break. The tips included (and you can see what one you would need on [...]) are:102104201 through 207209Sure wish I knew these numbers last week!

Works well, very useful for many computers
I repair laptops, and having this adapter around has already come in handy. Folks often lose or break theirs and so far this universal power supply has fit them all. The way the tips are connected makes them unlikely to break in my opinion.

Either the quality is low or you can't trust the vendor's compatibility chart. iGo service was lousy too...
I was looking for a decent "universal" adapter that would power both of our home laptops, one of which was a Gateway P-171S FX. That monster sucks power like crazy. With dual hard drives, an Nvidia 8800GTS video card, and fast CPU, go figure. Anyway, Gateway uses a 120watt adapter for it but according to the iGo website their 90watt was compatible. Even at idle it would charge for about 20 seconds and then the LED would go out and die. Before I returned it to Amazon I actually called the iGo support number and the extent of their troubleshooting was "Return it to the reseller". The guy genuinely sounded irritated to even be speaking with me. Anyway, Amazon was great as usual but be careful with iGo.

Multiple Problems
This chord continued to need replacement tips. It was such a big pain in the butt and way more expensive than it was worth. You will regret this decision.

IGo sent me this one as a warranty replacement
Recap: My IGO Wall 110 charger pins got a short-circuit as a result the thing was basically useless and would be good for one thing only charging a cellphone accessory. The adapter had a port included with the charger with the bundled i-go accessory which is basically useless all around as a result because I replaced the phone, so as a result my old charger is a dead paperweightAfter I got this replacement model charger I went to their website and bought the A-92 accessory so I can charge my phone as well as my laptop with this new charger.Pros: The wire to the charger to the notebook is built in. The tips are not as flimsy as the previous model.Cons: The wire to the charger to the notebook looks like it will break off eventually if pulled hard. Unlike the 110 model this does not come with a car charger. They do charge a premium for this charger on the website. If you do not want to charge a second device I would recommend you buy from a different vendor for a substantial discount especially if you shop around. The brick looks small and cheaply made unlike the previous models I'm still in shock on how much they charge for it. I might stop buying from this vendor if this is how things are going to be from now on. This adapter also does not have a second redundant port on the adapter to hook up the I-Go accessory wire.Getting this replacement charger was no easy task I managed to get hold of someone once and I was told I was going to get a replacement wire but after that I figured out it was not the wire but the charger itself. I called all week and could only get an answering machine so I left a message, but I didn't get a response. I emailed everyone and finally a representative from the company told me they will sent me a new adapter and finally after all that red-tape I received this product today. It would be wise if they had a design like the 110 adapter and a fixed wire as well plus a redundant port and a supplied car charger because for me that would be a dream charger. Each successive model they leave some important characteristic out in the final product. I also noticed the expensive model has a flawed design with two removable wires. However, if it has a tight fit with the wires and if the tips do not come off maybe they did make the necessary modifications.

Extremely frustrating
There was no tip reference card in the package. Couldn't find reference sheet in iGo web site. Couldn't speak to a live customer service rep. The one thing they do tell you is don't screw up and use the wrong tip or you could ruin your device. Extremely frustrating experience... would never buy from this company again.

Works great! Great quality!
After my dog ate my first charger, I purchased an aftermarket charger from Amazon that lasted about 6 months before it just stopped working. I have had the Igo for well over a year now and no problems!!! Works great on my HP laptop. I would suggest it to anyone. Those other low ratings are from whiners who are nit picking. If your looking for an AC charger, this is a good buy.
