These light weight swaddling blankets are perfect for hot summer days or to layer for added warmth in the winter season. I've made these swaddling blankets a large 46 X 46 inches or larger and they are roomy enough for a nice snug swaddle. They may shrink some when washed, as they are 100% cotton, but with their extra large size, they'll still be big enough. I don't know about you, but I've tried to get a nice swaddle with receiving blankets and it just doesn't happen. They are way too small. They also have a slight stretch, so they are easy to wrap nice and snug.
