Excellent, smooth handling scooter!
This scooter was bought as a gift for a 7 yr old, and he loves it! He got the hang of riding it almost immediately (he'd previously had a 3-wheel scooter, so this was a trickier upgrade!), but as said, he found it straightforward to handle very rapidly, and he enjoys riding it a lot. It is smooth, handles well, is light to transport, and seems durable. The flashing lights in the wheels add to it too.

Good Value
Bought for my granddaughter for her 6th birthday, and with the flashing lights on the wheels she was delighted. Well made and as the handle bar can be altered means it will last her a while.

Shocking Item
This is a shocking piece of junk. I've tried to call Gymax "customer services" numerous times to complain but they never pick up.The scooter is described as foldable, and arrived in a folded condition. Straight away it was obvious that no one had bothered to check or inspect this feature, because it was impossible to unfold it. As an engineer I could immediately see the problem; the 2 metal brackets had not been welded correctly to the bottom frame and were not in line with each other, meaning that the holes and slots were similarly out of line and the spring loaded pin could not be pulled out let alone engage with the the slot for the upright position. I dismantled the hinged assembly and was able to file one of the welded plates slots to allow the scooter to be assembled in the unfolded position.Upon further inspection I found that the back wheel retaining allen screws weren't tightened. Also, the handle bars were not at right angles to the front wheel axis - this was not easy to correct. Finally, when I tried to return the scooter to a folded position it was quite impossible and would have required much more filing, redrilling and adjustment. So this major selling feature is useless. I should add that IMO the spring loaded retaining pin is inadequate both in size and function, and should be completely redesignedAll these faults should have been detected before despatch, but clearly NO inspection had been made. Disgraceful.
