Long lasting
Perfect size, quality stuff, and makes ice last longer in the ice chest.

Great item
Great item to have for the cooler. Stays cold for long periods if used correctly. Allow for time to freeze and will last all day. 8 hours freeze time is appropriate for all day use. Dose not leak. Great item to have for the family fun day events

Perfect fit in my igloo cooler
Keeps my drinks and food cold for about 3 days before I toss them in the cooler over night.

I wish there was a thicker size
I really like the form factor of this Ice Pack - the handle and the slots. The ice pack is shipped empty with powder inside. Once you fill it up with water and shake it, the mixture becomes a sludge like substance -- to the point it hardly slushes inside the container. Stick it in the freezer and there you go. No fuss No Muss.I read every critical review prior to buying because, I didn't want to waste money on something I wasn't going to use. I did not experience any of the bulging or filling/mixing issues. It was not at all difficult to me and because ice expands, I only filled it to about 90%. I'm fortunate not to have a broken cap - however, the container has a plug in the mouth, then a cap which doubles the leak prevention. Why 4-star? I like the rigid and rugged container fits in my laptop slot in my backpack - I use it to keep myself and electronics cool on a summer hike. The cap is definitely a vulnerable spot. I think if you dropped it on the cap, the cap would likely crack or shatter. Also, there is not enough gel/water/substrate whatever you want to call the stuff that freezes inside -- to keep cold for a long time. For use in a cooler, you would want several which probably defeats part of the purpose to begin with. I would have liked it to be 50-100% thicker to contain much more ice. Kind of pricey for the amount of "cold" you are buying. i definitely wish it lasted longer.Depending on your usage, this might work better. I've used these types of bags, mostly in the situation where I had to buy ice or use hotel ice.https://a.co/d/030ZKwZhttps://a.co/d/8HtoWx5What's nice is you can use or dump the water after it melts and it's less weight to carry.Hope this helps.

One out of two gelled up.
The one that the gel activated works well compared to the one that didn't. I've contacted customer support and they haven't responded back yet. The company has contacted me and are sending me a replacement. They have been very helpful and have had good communication with me so far. The ice packs are nice and I'm not sure why one gelled up and the other one didn't. The gelled up one stayed frozen alot longer than the one that just had water in it. Use the funnel when filling and I just used a measuring cup when I filled mine. Be sure to squeeze the sides when filling and after you put the lid on give them a really good shaking

These work awesome
I put two of these in a large backpack cooler and filled it with beer and waters. After a long day at the beach I came home and forgot to clean it out until the next day. The beer was still ICE Cold... Super impressed considering it was a backpack cooler that is not as insulated as a normal cooler.

Great Ice Packs
We bought these for our large beach cooler (we bought 2 sets of 2). They work excellent! We have had them in our cooler for nearly 12 hours and they barely started to thaw. That includes 5 of the hours on the beach. For set up - follow the instructions but go very slowly in adding the water as to not overfill them. Trust me, this is critical. If you do that - you should do very well with them.We place the packs in our cooler for about 20 minutes before loading the cooler to lower the ambient temperature, works like a charm. Drinks after 10 hours were colder than the fridge. Love these!

good form factor but awkward to fill and short cycle
This ice pack is thin and takes minimal room along the side of a large cooler. In other respects, it was disappointing. For starters, one of the 4 packs I ordered appears to have not created gel -- based on the sound when rotating the filled pack. The provided funnels, when used with this pack, do not allow air out of the pack during filling, which becomes an exercise for three hands in order to hold everything and compress the lower part of the funnel. The instructions say to squeeze the pack to eliminate air before putting on the cap. Given the stiffness of the plastic, this is not possible, even with significant force on the sides. When frozen and used, these packs warm up quickly. This makes sense due to the large surface area of the pack, so possibly these are more effective for short duty situations.Even with less gel volume, the conventional TOURIT ice packs (28 oz water instead of 36 oz) are proving far longer lasting and easily last long enough for 24 hour swaps. And much easier to fill and prepare for use.
