No problem putting it into the wall plate but pay attention that the "up" making on the wall plate is in the right orientation.

Sometimes you end up with two male phone cords that need to be attached. This coupler makes that job very simple.

House is wired and I have a landline. Needed to cleanup some unreliable phone jacks so I updated to these with appropriate plates. No issues.

I have 2 recessed floor outlets and they have a spot for a keystone. I bought these to see if I could take advantage of this, and it worked! Now I was able to have 2 electric outlets and this keystone for my router in one place, which simplified the mess of cords and looks clean. I was able to take a sharpie to it to black it out as well. Do note, this is a female on both sides so you'll need male plugs coming in and going out.

Instead of running new cat 3 or cat5 wire to a new location we could use a regular 2-line phone cord to relocate a phone jack.

At least one of the 5 I received did not work. Had to remove and replace, luckily at least 1 of the other 4 does work.
