I love this bench! I went back and forth on whether or not to get the longer one. I am so glad that I got the one that fits perfectly in my small entryway corner. Each row fits about four pairs of shoes, but it is a little snug; it works just fine for everyday shoes I leave at the front entrance. My shoes were all over the place before, and now they are all organized. I put a mirror up behind it so I have a perfect place to put on my shoes and get one last check before walking out the door. It’s very sturdy and looks expensive. One tip on assembly - put on three legs only to start, then everything else. The last part should be the fourth leg. Otherwise you may struggle to get it all to line up. This is totally worth the money.

This fit perfectly in my room. I’m able to store a lot of shoes, sandals, house slippers. Whatever I need by the door and it looks nice. The top is great for storing socks as well.

The good - it has an elegant look. Once it’s put together it is very sturdy and it fits well in the area I’m using it in.The bad - the picture shows all those shoes under it… those are kid sized shoes. (No joke) Women are not fitting their heals under there. Little girls heals, yes. Men’s shoes are a tight fit.Also, repeat of other reviews, the instructions were for the wrong bench. But they really weren’t needed.Final- I like the look and it fits my purpose. It’s very sturdy. That’s why it got 4 stars.

I read the reviews for this shoe rack with a soft seat and many others. People who reviewed this product, explained their positives and challenges well. I picked this one, was ready to pay more attention during assembly (maybe I watched something ahead of time so I was ready to laugh if I ended up with a spare part or something "extra" and the whole thing doesn't work--good to laugh and have the energy do it again.), and it looks great in our front entry. I may or may not have read that sustainably resourced wood was used for this product. I do not remember now, and I don't remember seeing anything specifying eco-friendly. I paid more as I wanted a good quality bench and prefer sustainable resourced/recycled products. In case that is important to you, please check with the manufacturer before buying. I won't let this go now, but if this isn't eco-friendly at all, I would be bummed. Not the manufacturer's fault, if I read sustainable when it just said "wood," that's my error. If that makes sense?

Once we figured it out, all was good but the pieces are not labeled and at first it looked like the holes in two of the legs were drilled incorrectly. The instructions didn't label or point this out so it was after we took it a part , we figured it out that we had to switch them with the other legs a different way so the holes lined up properly. Also the instructions looked to be for a different piece and not the one we bought. Other than that this is a great and sturdy bench that we use at our front door.

My wife and I assembled this shoe bench with no difficulty. It can probably be assembled by one person alone, but two people are recommended. It came with instructions and no missing parts. I read a review that mentioned this bench was not a quality item and was not sturdy. However, my wife and I can sit down on it together with no wobbles or feelings of uneasiness (combined about 300 pounds). We got the walnut color and it is beautiful. We use the shelves for shoes and the storage compartment for slippers.
