Raid Essentials Ant & Roach Killer 29, 12 oz trigger spray

I recently purchased Raid Bug Spray, and I must say, it's been a total game-changer in my battle against unwanted pests. As someone who has always been bugged by mosquitoes and other pesky insects, finding a reliable solution was crucial, and Raid delivered beyond my expectations. First and foremost, this bug spray is incredibly effective. Within seconds of spraying, I noticed a significant decrease in the number of bugs in my immediate vicinity. Whether it's mosquitoes, flies, ants, or even spiders, Raid Bug Spray has proven its ability to swiftly eliminate them. I particularly appreciate that it doesn't just repel pests but actually kills them, ensuring a bug-free environment. The convenience factor is another aspect I appreciate about this product. The ergonomic design of the can allows for easy handling and spraying, ensuring maximum coverage with minimal effort. Additionally, the nozzle provides a fine mist, which helps to evenly distribute the bug spray without creating a mess.

I found this product to be highly effective against the little sugar ants we were seeing. I normally use the Terro liquid packs and ants would be gone in a few days. This time it seemed they were just ignoring the bait. I used this spray and they were just gone and have not returned. It is a little oily so be careful where and how much you spray.

I does what I wanted it to do, which is to kill ants. It absolutely did that. I gave it 4 stars instead of five because it has a strong odor, (not entirely unpleasant compared to others, but still kind of stinky, so ventilation is a good thing), and it leaves an oily residue behind. Another thing I didn't like is that there is no stream option on the spray nozzle, so you can't direct the spray into tight spaces, it just goes everywhere. If I could only choose one improvement, it would be that. I may not buy it again because it doesn't have a stream option, and I need something I can spray between and behind my refrigerator.

Worked fine. The smell is so strong though. It's not a bad smell but it's overwhelming. I also don't like that they struggle for a few seconds before dying. It also is super slippery. Beware. But it did the job .

So things to know about this product but to sum it up: Pro - it works - doesn't ruin floor Con(?) -It leaves an oily residue Neutral - it does have a scent Ants were able to enter my house via the back door threshold. Now they got pretty bad so i originally sprayed them on sight. and they died on sight. But I also sprayed a ton on the doorway threshold and it seems to have stopped them form coming in (and the ones that made it passed seemed to have died after crossing it). Also there were times where i sprayed and then let this stuff sit and it didn't warp/stain my floors (whereas water has caused a litttle warping before) This leaves me to my con, i have shiney wood floors, so when i sprayed on sight, wiping them up after, it still left a residue where if i wore socks it could get a little slippery. Thankfully clean up wasn't hard but i sprayed a lot around lol so i just used like a normal spray bottle cleaner and wiped down with paper towels/ mop thing. I noted it as a con because i prefer once you wipe it with a cloth you dont have to spray with cleaner again. And i did want to note there was a smell. I personally don't think it was a "bad" smell but it was a little strong (but that could also have been user error since i did use quite a bit all around the house at once) Neutral for me but noting for those sensitive to smells in general

I have tried a couple of different options to get rid of the ants in our place (particularly around the kitchen). From what I can see, this product worked better than the other ant baits that we have used. I just spray the spot that I see them coming out of, and I haven't seen them coming out for the past few weeks at this point. Happy with the purchase.

I like that it is not aerosol so that I can control where it goes and how much I want. Makes it very easy and simple to spot treat without it getting everywhere. We like and appreciate that our family and pets are not having to smell and “taste” like other sprays that get in the air and and linger.
