Delicious and So Fresh
I purchased a competitor recently and was deeply disappointed. So stale and hard to chew. But not these!! So fresh and fruity they melt in your mouth! I recommend Sarah's Candy Factory Fruit Slices to everyone with a sweet tooth like mine.

Awful, horribly fake taste
Have you ever eaten Brach’s fruit slices? Do you remember it tasting pretty artificial, but it was candy so it was still good?Somehow, this brand manages to destroy whatever affinity and nostalgia you might’ve had with their crappy bulk candy. Bulk candy that really isn’t much of a deal. Your typical 10oz bag of fruit slices at your local grocer is $2. That’s $4 for 20oz. This 5lb bag (80oz) is $23. So buying 8 of those 10oz bags will not only save you money, but you’ll have a decent tasting product with you as well!Let’s break down the flavors in this bag:Grape - bitter, horrible grape flavor. Like the really cheap grape drink powder except not water-downed in any way and no dissolved sugar to mask the bitterness. The rock sugar on top is hard, does nothing for the flavor since it isn’t dissolved, and gets all over your hands.Orange - Not bad. Least worst of the bunch. Rock sugar still sucks though.Lemon/lime or yellow and green - Cheap citrus flavor, with an extra bitterness for the lime. I genuinely enjoy lime flavored things, and this has to be the worst lime-flavored anything I’ve eaten. I guarantee you they exclusively used the rind to make that flavor concentrate. The lemon is OK. Again, same issue with the rock sugar.Cherry or red - the worst of them all. Cheap flavoring and its got that mediciney flavor too. Like cherry cough syrup in candy form. Horrible. While the grape is horrid, it, at least, doesn’t make me feel physically ill and send shivers down my spine like the cherry. Maybe it’s that cough syrup trauma I have that’s triggering my reaction to this. I’d rather lick the rock sugar off this one than eat it.Save your money. Buy something higher quality or go to the grocer and buy those 10oz bags.

Good product.
Great taste, always reasonably fresh. There are usually a decent number of deformed / misshaped pieces if that matters to you.

Fresh and soft
These are pretty good. They are soft and chewy and the flavor is ok. Could be more fruity.

Soft
These are the best! They are soft and have great flavor. Can’t seem to keep them around longer than a day or two when I buy them. My whole family likes them

Delicious, chewy, flavorful, sweet. A great afternoon treat!
Truly delicious, and a great deal for the price I paid at the time. I have adored Fruit Slices since I was a kid, but I hadn't had them in years. My local grocery was out for almost a month, and Sarah's Candy Factory came to the rescue!I might have to order another bag to keep on hand ;)

Candy was very fresh....
Candy was very fresh and well packaged, but it doesn't have much flavor.
