The media could not be loaded.  This is my initial review for the Beelink U57 Intel Core i5-5257 8GB RAM 256GB SSD Mini PC and I'll continue updating it as I use it.There seem to be a lot of these mini PCs hitting the market at the moment. Most of them have similar spec's and features. They all are smaller than a a CD Disk, they all almost have both wireless and Ethernet connectivity. They usually offer 2-3 USB ports but this one got 4 USB ports and one USB C it's more than what you will actually need, and others also offer between 4 to 8GB of RAM and between 16-256GB of non-up-gradable ROM and feature a very low-end Intel processors. I have seen and tested, many of them but this one is of the more expensive models, with most clocking, i5 Processor and higher specs in at around $350.There really actually alot that distinguishes this product from some of the other cheaper models, the fact that it has a more durable metal case, you can tell it feels very premium and has this apple mini feel to it. Most of the other cheap products only have plastic casing. This mini pc also support dual HDMI ports. I can really see the advantage to that, if you happen to own a dual monitors so it got you covered or you can do dual monitor setup. The product comes with an external mounting bracket but no external antenna port, but I didn't have any problems with the Wifi.Windows 10 pro comes installed, and you will only need to go through the regular windows 10 setup process which requires you to either have a Microsoft account or to set up a fresh new one. There is an option to continue the installation without internet connectivity, but it's buried somewhere in the setup. Once the basic setup is completed you will need to install the usual Microsoft product updates. The installation does not come with any extra, unwanted bloatware as you will find on many new PCs, so you won't have to spend hours uninstalling a bunch of useless or even malicious software. It's a pretty clean build. But a word of advice, don't connect the internet or sign in to your Wifi during the installation as it will corrupt your setup for some reason.Overall, Great build quality and fast CPU Intel Core i5-5257u and 8GB RAM with 256GB SSD, those are insanely fast specs. So If you are looking for a powerful mini PC that doesn't need to do much in the way of graphics this will definitely do the job. The media could not be loaded.  I'm a IT professional and I built my first PC from scratch 30 years ago by buying the motherboard, memory, hard drive, and the case all separately. How technology has evolved since then...I still have one desktop computer at home but all my kids and my wife and I now use a laptop or Chromebook. I got this Mini PC to replace one of our old laptops and I couldn't believe how small it is yet it packs so much horse power and features... It's truly amazing mini PC. My children are now always fighting to use this mini PC rather than laptops 😁WHAT I LIKE:[+] The size. I can put this anywhere, even mount behind a monitor. I guess the size does not matter after all... 😁[+] Windows 10 Pro preinstalled yet NO junk software preinstalled. Nicely done.[+] 8GB of memory, Intel Core i5, and 256GB SSD. Need I say more?[+] 2 HDMI out ports for dual monitor options. You can also easily connect to a TV with HDMI port.[+] USB 3 and USB 2 ports in addition to the latest USB-C port![+] Has Ethernet port but who still uses RJ45 cable these days? It also has bBuilt-in WiFi for wireless internet connection![+] Option to easily add hard drive to expand the storage if 256GB is not enough for you.[+] Comes with mounting kit for back of monitor as well as 2 HDMI cables that are perfect length for mounting option so that cable is not visible for clutter-free look.[+] It has a built-in fan that turns on automatically as needed so that the unit does not get hot. This is a great feature because I've seen other people complaint about their fan-less mini PCs getting too hot.[+] Price!WHAT I DON'T LIKE:[-] Option to add additional memory would have been nice but 8 GB is more than enough for most of Windows 10 usersBOTTOM LINE:10 out of 5 stars. I'm still mind blown by this mini PC and all my family is in love with this computer. I highly recommend this mini PC to anyone looking to replace their old desktop or even a laptop like we did. It's an old I5 so don't expect to game or edit video on this thing on this thing. But with an SSD, 8GB of ram and slot for 2.5" HDD this will do just about anything else you want. The SSD makes it boot super fast and it's powerful enough for VOIP calls and youtube while multitasking with mutiple programs open at once. Install Kodi and this would make an excellent media server with the 2 HDMI ports expandable storage USB 2 and 3 ports and built in wifi and bluetooth. Also not mentioned in the description it comes with a vesa mount so you can mount this directly to your monitor or to the wall behind it easily hiding it and all the wires. This is a great mini PC and a great value. One more thing I'd like to add, I had a question about a small issue I was having. I emailed the company and had a response within 15 minutes, this amazed me. I'm used to dealing with big companies that get back to you within 24-72 hours or not at all and hope you go away. Great product, great seller, buy with confidence.Edit: After about 2 months the power supply stopped working, had to replace it with a variable power supply I had left from another project. Also the fan is getting very loud, it has bad bearing and I expect that to stop working soon as well.

One single fundamental flaw breaks this brilliant machine, it’s such a shame. The graphic card is fantastic and it runs Football Manager 2021 very well. The read and copy speed, brilliant. Comes with two HDMI cables, something to mount it to your monitor, again brilliant they’ve clearly considered the needs of the customer. The PC stays cool, unlike previous criticism which said it didn’t but there’s just this one fundamental flaw that throws this all out the window.This pc is quite clearly designed to be used in a business setting, it’s portable, it has windows 10 pro yet the fan is so loud it would drive everyone insane. Whenever I do one thing with it, even as simple as open chrome it’s loud. It’s like it was an ancient machine thats falling into pieces but you’re too stubborn to replace it until it dies- that’s how loud it was. The fan is quite clearly overworked and I can’t imagine it would be able to survive long term going like that with people using it 9-5 every Monday to Friday.This one flaw was enough to make me want to return it, this is 300 quid and at that price you’d expect a product that doesn’t have one fundamental flaw as big as this one. I requested a refund through amazon so I can’t say how their customer service is, but I have seen some of their customers on their forum complain about them not replying to their emails etc. Unfortunately until they improve both flaws I’d give it a miss.

For my needs worth each penny. For internet, office 365 and watching movies does not let me down. No issues so far. Connected two monitors without problem and good response and the best for me space saver.

Product would not support an SSD sent it back

Había hecho un comentario al respecto de este producto donde tenia una falla y, después de batallar un poco con las configuraciones, quedó bien. Puedo decir que es un pc costoso, pero la verdad es que vale la pena para trabajo en casa y multimedia (no he probado gaming). Esta sobrado para lo anterior, lo único criticable ahora es que los puertos usb están demasiado juntos y a veces complica conectar cualquier cosa. Es un mini pc que vale cada peso que se paga.Actualización después de un día de uso: se reinicio el equipo y ya no cargó el sistema. Iniciaba con la bios y de ahi no pasaba. Ahora esta en proceso de devolución.

Ha funcionado muy bien. Solo que cuando uso el Visual Studio se alenta demasiado, lo cual no debería ocurrir para una PC con este procesador y memoria
