Quality not there
I have ordered directly from Fantastic Foods before but it has been several years since my last order. The packaging is the same but the crumbles are not crumbles they are more like a paste (think re-fried beans) now and the taste is not like I remember. I'm afraid the quality of the product has declined in both texture and taste so sadly, I won't be buying anymore products from Fantastic Foods.

I love it as it does taste like regular taco meat ...
They used to sell this locally but I am unable to get it now. I love it as it does taste like regular taco meat and is super easy to make. I only use a ceramic cereal bowl and it makes up perfectly.

Glad the new version is GMO free
Glad the new version is GMO free, but the texture is more pasty. Liked the old texture better. Taste is still good.

New VegetarianTaco filling is better than before
I was skeptical when the package arrived because I was expecting the old product and the new (improved) product was shipped instead. In addition, some of the other reviews that I had read indicated that the new product was not an improvement but was not as good as the old one. However, the proof of the pudding is in the tasting, and I have to say that the new product in my opinion is better than the old. There, I said it and I'm sticking to it.
