Very quiet fan
This is a very modern looking exhaust fan. It was slightly larger than the one I replaced but was not that much of a problem to install. It is super quiet and still moves a good volume of air. I am well pleased and recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet yet economical exhaust fan.

Required attic access to install. Relatively quiet, but louder than the fan it replaced.
You must have attic access to install this fan, and getting the wires back into the case was challenging. I recommend leaving this fan to new construction professionals or very experienced remodelers.I used this fan to replace a physically smaller 20-year old fan in my laundry room. Both fans are rated at 90 CFM, and both used/use the same 6" exhaust vent. This fan is definitely moving more air than the fan it replaced. Unfortunately, it is louder that fan it replaced even though it is advertised with a lower Sones level.

Very quiet but not a ton of air movement
This is a very quite fan! When installed properly you can literally almost not hear it at all. However because of the quietness I dont think it moves a ton of air... It says not to use it in a kitchen for liability but I installed it as a smoke/steam exhaust in my house above our island and it does work great.

The first one I bought did not work. Now the seconds came like this, arrived damaged, No installation manual. Looks like a return item.

Best Bathroom Fan Ever!
Where has this fan been my whole life? We are renovating our main bathroom, which is sized about 50 sq ft. We installed a shower system, i have thick hair, and it's winter in Michigan - so a typical shower generates a LOT of steam. This fan exhausts the steam better than any we've ever owned. Our previous unit was a panasonic, and this easily seems to perform twice as well. It makes about the same amount of noise as the panasonic, and as you can see from the photo, it looks fairly sleek on the ceiling. The excellent performance has been a pleasant surprise.

Could be better
Not as effective as my old fan. Mirrors steam up more with this one.

Didn't like the size of the grill but in the end ...
Ordered this reluctantly as we wanted to upgrade our bath fans before an insulation install and had very low ceiling clearance in one room. Didn't like the size of the grill but in the end it didn't look as bad as we thought. Pretty quiet and powerful enough that if I put it on before a normal shower (not hair wash!) there is usually no steam on the mirror when I'm done. Maybe a little bit of steam if I'm having a longer hair-wash shower. I paid a lot of attention to sones in the specs when I was choosing and in the end we went with 2 aero pure fans. Electrician said they were easy to install (no need to go in attic.) Overall very pleased.

May cost you a lot to get less fan noise
In order for this fan to function as quietly as it is advertised it needs to have a six inch exhaust hose going to the outside vent. Previously most fans used 3 or 4 inch exhaust hoses. If it is new construction it will work as quiet as they advertise but if it is intended for a remodel and you have small diameter hose you will not get anywhere near the low level of noise they advertise. I really like the untraditional look of the fan but I do not want to install a new roof vent and all that entails to get the lower noise level. Therefore, this was not a good purchase for me.

This fan is very quiet, always forgetting it’s on, then what’s that, oh yeah!Looks nice, didn’t want just white. It was easy to install.
