Q: Has anyone use this in crocs?

I have not used the shine sponge on croc's. However, I was disappointed when I purchased this product. The sponge dried out very quickly. I believe it was old. I ordered some mink oil and placed a small amount on the sponge and now I use it on my shoes. Now they look shiny and repel water.

Q: What kind of oil does this use?

There is a description of the product on the product's page. It clearly states "The silicone impregnated sponge is contained in a durable, easy to use travel pack and is ideal for using in the home, office or when traveling. " You could then look up the definition of silicone which would yield the following: "A silicone or polysiloxane is a polymer made up of siloxane They are typically colorless oils or rubber-like substances."

Q: Will this work on boat shoes-sperry top siders?

I don’t believe so. This product is specifically designs for dress shoes.
