I love my movie collection 97% was bought from amazon I will continue to collect and I do from this sight and all movies were in excellent condition whether bought pre-owned or brand new not once did I receive a broke or scratched movie . Just make sure you read about the seller that they have good scores and reviews.

Matthew Macfayden is an amazing actor. I love him in everything he does but this movie. It is a great story that doesn't really "end". The movie begins with a brief introduction then jumps 15 years to show you "what happened". Then it's just chaos..the end. that's that movie. there is absolutely NO time for character developement, no time for you to feel the characters, no nothing. I was left with the feeling of "ok, what else. there's supposed to be MORE" but there isn't. the movie stunk to be honest. skip entirely because you're not missing anything at all.

If you love Mathew MacFayden and you want to see him do something very different, rent this video. It's very dark and rather scary. Not a monsters and ghosts kind of scary, but a human behavior scary. I would give it 5 stars, but I didn't think the characters were given enough time to develop.

The whole idea is about making Christianity ridiculous to the point even dangerous. I was wandering if the such movie had been made with the emphasis on Buddhism or Judaism instead of Christianity, would that have even been possible? I guess not. What I did with the movie? I trashed it without remorse.

The purchasing and delivery of this item was excellent; wasn't too crazy about the movie overall. It was dark and somewhat disturbing, featuring religious people as way over zealous and a bit on the crazy side, as though Godly people can't just be normal people.

I have almost everything Matthew Macfadyen has done. He is one of my favorite British actors. But this one I did not care for at all. I really enjoyed him I just didn't like the storyline.

Let down at the end

Middletown had the marks of religion or spirituality that was spoiled by personal issues of the religious leaders of their church. Matthew McFadyen was able to give an excellent portrayal of the religious leader who came to rescue the church from stagnation and extinction. Having seen him in MI-5 and Pride and Prejudice, this is certainly a departure from his usual roles. Lots of shocking events, character flaws, unusual twists.
