Milk Gel for Wavy Curly Hair Papaya and Neroli Parabenfree Curl Gel Oz, 8 Ounce

Excellent gel, I hope it doesn’t get discontinued as their previous one was. Holds the natural curl perfectly with no crunch or stiffness. Some complain about the scent, however I love papaya so it didn’t bother me. The smell is natural as the ingredients used.

If you have fine curly hair, this is the stuff for you. I almost didn't review it because it is always out of stock and hard for me to find. The more people who know how good this stuff is the harder it will be to find! But this stuff is magic! It is not a hard hold gel but it holds up. I have fine, thin, wavy curly hair. My curls stay curly for days without getting tangles and they are so soft and touchable. It is very runny and distributes well. It has a strong guava smell which is the only down side. You smell like guava all the time. But it's worth it for beautiful wavy curls.

My hair type is all over the place including wavy and curly depending on the section. But it's all prone to frizz. I bought this product along with the matching shampoo and conditioner. But I think just this leave in product is enough. My hair looks SO much better. Nice and smooth. Be sure to apply to wet hair - otherwise it gets weird and sticky. And you need just the right amount - enough to work, but not too much or it gets weird and tacky. This is just a smoother, no hold - that's what I was looking for Smell is fine, fruity and natural.

I have curly hair which likes to frizz up in our humid Minnesota summers. While I was wanting something that could be used as both a curl cream and a gel in one, this isn't it, HOWEVER I have come to love it regardless. I apply this on damp, combed hair as a primer then use my usual flaxseed hair gel for hold. The combo seems to work quite well, and honestly, if I'm not planning to go out or am just tossing my hair into a bun so I don't need my curls to have any 'hold', I CAN skip my gel and just roll with this cream but if I want my curls to stay bouncy and defined then the gel is a must. All in all, I like the product. I don't like strong smelling products, but while this IS quite heavy in scent it thankfully doesn't last and I don't notice it after a few minutes time. I think I will continue to use it come winter as well simply because it lends moisture which my curls crave, but so far I'm loving what it does to my hair in the humidity so that alone is a win for me.

I have never really liked gel products. I use curl cremes. This product has changed my opinion. I use a dollop in the bottom half of my curls. I also use the Shea Moisture Shine and Hold Spray in the top of my head. I like the smell. It reminds me of grapefruit. The texture is a little slimy but it blends in well with wet hair. I do use a wet brush to get out snarls/knots. This product is sold out on Shea Moisture’s website. I hope it isn’t being discontinued. I really like this product. Hair 2C-3A

I have 2B-2C curls, not thick, fairly fine. This product made the curl turn out beautifully and my hair felt really soft. Unfortunately, by the next morning (I shower in the evening) my hair was already showing a good amount of frizz. I can't stand the hair helmet so... :(. But the curly girl adventure is different for everyone, so this may work for a different hair type.

This product is great for frizz-control! My favorite!

Horrible smell. Did absolutely nothing to enhance my curls or prevent frizz. Tried using by itself and before and after curl creams.
