China is known for using forced labor provided by ethnic minorities and those who speak out against the government. These items are not supposed to be sold in the US, but then again, just look at all the items on Amazon that violate US copyright/trademark laws. Because of this, some people try to avoid purchasing items made in China. Other people would simply rather support US businesses and workers, and not send their money overseas.
