Do these pencils have numbers or names on them in order to distinguish one pencil from another?

the pencils only have numbers on them. i am legally blind and can not see the difference between pencils colors. if the name of the colors were on the pencils i could use my magnifier to read the name instead of numbers . what is the point of the numbers anyway? the color pencils are nice and they are quite strong. i just wish someone could print out a paper that match the numbers with color name.

Are these good for just regular coloring books? I've always just used crayola colored pencils, but wanted a larger variety.

I think they are better than regular color pencils. These are better quality. They give better coverage without having to pile on the color in order to blend. A lot depends on your paper quality. Good luck.

Are there any skin tone colors? Tans Browns etc that look like realistic skin tones?

Yes, there are many colors of brown from pale to dark. There are also shades of black, yellow and pinkish colors. I believe it would not be difficult to create the skin color you are looking for.

Does this set include metalics?

Only a few metallics are included...I suggest purchasing a set of metallics only if you want a good variety.
