My new go-to toy for summer birthdays! Simply amazing!
Like Shrinky-Dinks (my "go-to" for winter birthdays), this is one of those super-cool toys that no one knows about because it's not a cartoon tie-in, but that never fails to make kids squeal with delight every time. Being a parent who isn't too keen on licensed stuff or electronic toys that do everything for the child, I bought the Jump Rocket for my active, space-obsessed 7-year-old's birthday, and although she only weighs about 40-some pounds, she was able to launch the rockets way higher than our three-story house. She came up with stories as she was launching and chasing the rockets (at one point she and I were ducks hitching a ride to Saturn), and within minutes she discovered how to alter the trajectory and velocity of the launches so she could successfully nest all three rockets in our little dogwood tree. She was laughing so hard she was snorting! And, as other posters have noted, dads and moms have a blast with this toy too. It's that irresistible! My only complaints, and they're minor, is that at first we couldn't find the launch tube because it was inside the green rocket, and that the tail pieces tend to come off after several hours of use, so keep lightweight glue handy. Overall, an excellent toy your child is guaranteed to love, at an exceptionally reasonable price. Very, very highly recommended!

GREAT toy! We even bought a second!
We purchased one of these for our son and he absolutely loved it. After A LOT of use the rockets started to get worn (which naturally happens with a well played with toy). It was such a great toy that a few years later we purchased a new one. It's great for ALL ages. Little ones (ages 1-3 or so) love to watch it go up, kids ages 4ish and up love to jump and launch it and even my 10 year old son and his friends love playing with it. One of the few toys that all 3 of my boys (ages 5, 7 and 10) can all play with together and enjoy. There are 3 rockets so they each choose a color and take turns launching it. Even when it's not their turn to launch, they love to watch each other launch them. They go REALLY, REALLY high! We've had to collect them off the roof of our 2 story home...and out of trees, so an open space is best. Even adults love this toy. Worth every penny! It's nice to see a fun toy that does NOT take batteries. It gets the kids outside and they jump to launch and they run to chase the rockets.

Fun to use...though constuction seems cheap for the price...
When I opened the packaging, I felt that the construction of the item itself was cheap, given the price. I think thi would be more of a $10 item. The plastic was a lot lighter than expected. We finally took it to the park and was very happy with the performance. Despite it's cheap construction, it held up very well. We loaded the arrows and jumped and stomped on the pad, watching th arrows fly high. 250 feet....definitely not...more like 100 feet ro so. But fun non the less. I still feel a $10 or $12 price would be mre appropriate.

Great toy for hours of fun, even in small yards!
My children love this jump rocket! All the kids in our neighborhood are now begging their parents for one. While it's fun to play with the kids sometimes you need a break and with this game the kids can play without adult help so you can sit back and relax while you watch the kids playing! The rockets go as high as a 4 story building, they go straight up and straight back down within 10 feet of where they are launched so we can let the kids play in the backyard without having to worry about them landing in the neighbors yard! The rockets are soft foam so it does not hurt if it lands on you! The kids also learn to control how high the rocket goes by how much force they put on the bubble by either stepping or jumping on it.After several hours of playing with this, the foam legs on the base started to bow from the kids pushing the rocket on. This did not effect the rocket from launching but my husband said it was an easy fix by attaching a little rod to the legs.

My grandson loved it (so did I)!
My grandson is 4 years old and it didn't take him long to get his jump timing just right to send the rockets some considerable distance into the air. This will no doubt improve further with age and weight. In the mean time I couldn't resist showing him just how far it could go with a single well aimed stamp of an adult boot especially one attached to a finely honed athlete such as myself but he didn't seem too impressed especially when I tried to explain I was trying to precisely calibrate my effort against what pressure I imagined a healthy 8 year old might exert for fear of doing damage to the foot pump. He gave me that look of feigned interest as he wandered off to collect the fallen rockets. The only slightly sour note introduced on Christmas Day was when he realised by slight adjustment of the launch platform he could mortar bomb my sister-in-law's chickens which, up until that point, were peacefully scratching away in their yard thinking all was well with the world.By the way, these were so much cheaper buying them from Amazon USA rather than from Amazon UK even after paying a little extra for shipping.
