ACDelco BLOW-OUT OFFER! 3/8 Inch Heavy Duty Air Impact Wrench with Composite Body and Comfort Grip, ANI307

I am a professional mechanic, so i feel I have really put this gun to the test. The gun is very comfortable and easy to use. It is not a powerhouse by any means but is just what a 3/8ths gun should be, I have had others that tend to be overpowered and snap off fasteners and have triggers that are impossible to modulate. Also this gun is not as compact as others I have used, really the only drawback I can comment on. The price is unbelievable! what have you got to loose really??

Ordered this based on the decent reviews and price. Upon opening and setting up the gun I found first that the switch on the rear of the gun is opposite the actual function of the gun R=Loosen and L=Tighten. I could deal with this given the price, but be aware. As far as power goes it appeared to have decent torque the one time I used it. The problem I had was air would rush out the rear of the gun where the direction switch is. So basically the oil and air would spray your hand when you used it. Needless to say I returned the item. Im hoping I received a lemon with a bad seal. But for the price I was not expecting much. Would recommend this to the “weekend warrior” not for a professional automotive technician.

It’s works well enough. Definitely not heavy duty. I wouldn’t expect to see this impact gun on an industrial jobsite. But for your average home owner tinkering around it would be adequate. I just used it on my dump trailer for changing out the brake assemblies. Worked well enough. Great value for the price.

I am glad to see this wrench back for this price I bought this gun in April 2018 it is now January 2020 and still working great, I have put a few retaining clips "jcscj380" on it but other than that no issues. I am a heavy equipment mechanic and use this gun more than my 1/2 inch. I am going to order another so when the old one does get weak I will take that one home and use the new one at work, just in case they aren't available when I need one.

I wanted a good 3/8 impact for light work and in areas to tight to use my 1/2 torque wrenches. This fit the bill perfectly. It seems to have good power at this point and it seems to be well built. I can live with the fact that the direction of torque is opposite of the indicator markings at the selector switch. If it holds up to my occasional use, I will be very happy.

I can say that this was a pretty good purchase and I'm happy with it. It would be better if the direction disc was a little easier to get to using my thumb, but, oh well...I maintain family vehicles and build/restore cars and motorcycles. So, I use air and cordless tools quite often.I can't say how it would hold up in a professional shop.

Good deal, nice and compact!Others stated the metal ring that holds sockets in place will try and fall off.First it makes sockets very hard to remove and install sockets, then it starts bending and coming off.I caught mine in time and was able to bend it so it wraps a little tighter around the mandrel.No more issues since, and it's much easier to work with.Only complaint i have, i wish it had more power for removing stubborn bolts, but it does have plenty of power for lug nuts on my cars.

Great tool. I worked in the automotive industry for over thirty years. I have used impact wrenches since I was in my teens. So much you can tell where the tool rested on the lower part of my thumb. A lot of tire rotations in my younger days. This tool is up to par in all areas. I also purchased the half inch drive impact. And three eighths drive air ratchet. I can tell if I keep it oiled and protected from water in my air lines it will be a great purchase price wise and service wise.

I love the gun. it's quiet and good for not breaking or overtorquing the bolts. still, u have to know how to use your gun.

nice HD Impact gun, so far happy with it, the power adjuster works really well, light weight and powerful torque.
