Liber & Co. Toasted Coconut Syrup (9.5 oz.) Made with Organic, Fair Trade Coconut and Cane Sugar

It's coconut syrup. It's delicious. It's rich, and creamy, and it even like, has an itty bit of sugar crystal texture. You will feel like a prince consuming this rich, gooey syrup, like, surely, it is only for kings n s***.I use it both in cocktails like Tiki drinks but also in alcohol-free fruit drinks for kids and pregnant friends. Mash up a bunch of berries in a shaker, use an ounce or two of this (that's actually a lot; for booze, you'd only use half to one ounce tops, but this is for sweet fruit juice), squeeze a bit of citrus, strain over ice, top with soda, and you've got a fancy drink that will make non alcoholics feel included in your party :)

Love the product but the last two bottles, of different flavors, were difficult to open. The safety seal ring, below the screw top, did not break away and had to be pried off with a screwdriver to open the bottles.

As others have said, the coconut syrup arrived with large chucks of solidified fat floating in the syrup. This was remedied (initially) easily enough with a warm water bath as recommended on Liber’s website. However, as soon as the bottle is opened Liber recommends/requires that you refrigerate the product. So every morning when I go to use the syrup there is a congealed layer at the top. Shaking seems to mostly eliminate this, but not entirely. But those aesthetic and functional issues aside, the taste is the most disappointing part of this purchase. The flavor is very muted and tastes more of toasted blandness than coconut. I’ve tried the syrup plain, in coffee, and in drinks and in each case it’s borderline off putting. To drinks and coffee it adds a vague toasted flavor but nothing I can identify as coconut. If I could return this I would. Since it’s not eligible I’ll try to find a good way to recycle the bottle.

Not a BAD syrup, but definitely not the best from Liber and Co. I tried this as a replacement for coco lopez in a Tradewinds and it just didn't hold up. More nutty than coconut. I don't think I'll buy it again because it doesn't really hit the marks I'd want it to in my cocktails

I have bought multiple syrups from this company and have never been disappointed. This is a fun flavor and you can make some great tasting drinks with this toasted coconut syrup!

I have seen a few reviews complaining that they are not able to shake the syrup in the bottle and incorporate all the ingredients. This product contains coconut oil which at room temperature is a solid. A quick time in the sunlight is all that is needed to warm up the syrup sufficiently, allowing the coconut oil to completely mix with the syrup. Overall a good product. I enjoy all their syrups and look forward to purchasing more.

Try the "Roadtown Gimlet" recipe on the back label. OMG, never drank gin before because I always thought it was disgusting. This is nowmy favorite cocktail for when I do have one.
