Secrets of the Cws Exam Study Guide: Cws Test Review for the Certified Wound Specialist Exam

This book helped me pass the Certified Wound Specialist test the first time I took the test. Don't need to take it again for another ten years. There are no pictures, so some drawing might be helpful for the next edition such as the layers of the epithelium and the dermis, or maybe drawings of the neuropathic and pressure ulcer stages as there are photographs on the exam. I would also suggest including the ABWM or other exam's outline and match the Study Guide keys to that outline. Regardless, the book is very detailed and well organized. I found the sample test questions extremely helpful as well.

I think according to a prep course I have just recently taken, it was spot on. I also think the material hit the essential topics hopefully to help me pass the exam and I appreciate the study, test taking tips. It was easy reading, easy to understand and explained well. I have enough information to remember and sort thru preparing for the exam, without complicating it more with difficulty reading and comprehension. It was a happy little book loaded with a great amount of information. Thanks

So far this book has been a great refresher for information as well has provided me with lots of new information and will definitely change some of the practice I do.

Purchased CWS exam secrets. It arrived quickly and packaged nicely. Having read halway through, I'm impressed by the layout and organization . No fluff, straight to the points needed for practice in wound care.Only suggestions would be add pictures of skin layers and additional prep questions. Otherwise hoping to ace CWS with this product.

One was the CWS exam secrets study guide and the other was the CWOCN exam practice questions. I am new to wound care and have found the information within both books helpful when making clinical decisions and for studying for the certified wound specialist certification. I like the question and answer format of the books. I find that studying for tests using this type of format helps me to remember the material better.
