Good Gone Bad: An Age Gap MC Romance (The Fallen Men, Book 3)

Danner was weak, I prefer Wrath
May have spoilers...What a disappointment. All the anticipation and excitement and it just wasn't up to par with previous books. My issue was the weak, wuss of a hero, Danner. Lion? More like a pussycat. I didn't care for him and didn't warm up to him until 60% in. Sorry, I like my Heroes to be protective, possessive, and fight for his h. Danner was just weaker in those areas. Hell, H.R showed more balls than him. She was the pursuer in the relationship. Because the H constantly runs away. Like a coward. And just like the h called him on it. He runs from his feelings, from their one sexual encounter. He even ditched her and went on date with someone else. After-- already doing something sexually to the heroine. And took off for 3 years. Jackass. If the h had not called in her moment of crisis, would he had gone back for her? I mean, I know the whole age thing was an issue with them. But he could have waited? Kept it in his pants right? I didn't like that he left H.R. when she needed him. That propelled her to make dumb choices. Being young and not having enough guidance to steer her in the right direction. Instead she got stuck in a abusive, toxic, relationship. And kept silent. That she felt she deserved it and was too proud to seek help, pissed me off. She's such a fighter and a badass. I couldn't comprehend how she allowed herself to become a statistic. But I did feel a wave of empathy. I was glad that she found her inner strength and self worth to fight back. And that she owned her mistakes. Just wish she had seek help sooner. Because throughout the story (minus the bdsm play with the oh, so mighty, Dom Danner) H.R. demonstrated bravery and toughness when faced when impossible choices. IMO, she deserves the "Lioness" title.Another issue I have with this book, like another reviewer stated, was Danner"s two OW. Freaking A. One was his uncover biker girlfriend, who also was Harleigh's friend. The other his lady cop friend, who he had been sleeping with for two years. Because, a man has needs no matter if he really wanted the h. I really dislike that he was so concerned for his biker girlfriend that he lost the fight. And the poor h had to rely on the other biker Wrath (who I love and really wanted H.R. to end up with) to save her. Wrath reminds me so much of Zeus, I tell you. SO ferocious, deadly and damn sexy. He had sizzling chemistry with H.R! I was so drawn to his character and he made the book for me. And TBH, this was one time I wouldn't have minded a love triangle. Because, that's a worthy Hero. Sorry, Danner. Even ur "Dom" play didn't illicit much reaction in me. Or made me view you as delectable. Just average. Perhaps if I felt more connection between him & H.R outside the bedroom? To me , their relationship was more physical. Lacking that deep and soul-searing love like Zeus & Lou has. And I don't hate the rough sexplay and domination thing they had going on. I just needed MORE from them. The emotional aspect that made the other two books stellar and spectacular. Was sadly lacking in this book. I didn't really feel the love until nearly the end, unfortunately. When Danner found his balls. And of course, the amazing epilogues. That was so beautiful.BTW-- I really want Wrath's book. I don't believe his story his over. And not sure if next one will be Nova ( the manwhore) and Lila (H.R's) friend. But if so, he better work his arse off to win her over. Bypassing her to sleep with others. No....Lila better have a backbone and not make it easy for him!

Dirty Danner and His Rebel Rose
The most hauntingly beautiful star crossed lovers story I've ever read. H.R. and Danner's story was one that made my heart physically ache in my chest. All I wanted was to put them together and make them love each other forever and fight all their demons together side by side. But life wasn't that simple for either of them. "I'd break my own heart a million times over if it meant keeping you alive." Ughh this line gutted me. Every time I read it. It was so poetic it brought actual tears. These characters were so rich and complex, that even after a few hours I still feel like I'm unpacking everything. Every wordless exchange (or the ones filled with taunting words) meant something. H.R. and Danner had this love language that transcended words at times that was so intense and beautiful and HOT.The entire Garro family made appearances and I was so happy to see Cress, King, Zeus and of course Lou Lou and the wealth of secondary characters that Giana Darling has made us fall in love with over these three books. Darling leaves me in awe with each new book in this universe and I can only imagine what's next. Five breathtaking stars.

***5 ‘Dirty Danner & Rebel Rose’ Stars***
***5 ‘Dirty Danner & Rebel Rose’ Stars***Well, D%#m!That was one h#|l of a rideI knew it would be. I mean we are talking about Biker Princess Harleigh Rose Garro here...but lemme tell you...the twists, the turns, the smexy and the crazy that make up the world of The Fallen Men definitely got kicked up quite a few notches here and even after finishing the book I NEED more...OMG So much more!Harleigh Rose is kind of awesome. She’s reckless, a little self destructive at times and she definitely tends to react before thinking things through, but she has huge, if not a little bit bruised, heart and a set of lady balls on her that makes her a force to be reckoned with. Danner is an enigma. And Alpha AF one, but one nonetheless. He has honor branded on his soul and the heart to go with it, but also has a dark side mixed in into a smexy as h@&l package that morphes him into a drug you won’t want to quite.Rosie and Lion’s journey to their HEA is all kinds of crazy, but it’s one that will make you believe in fate, epic love stories and that soulmates exist. From their first collision, they had a connection and as they continue to collide throughout the years that connection not only grows stronger but morphs into something that neither can fight and once they decide to go all in...well, all bets are off. The smexy between them is nuclear, OMG, hello HAWT! But what got me, and had me rooting for them, was the fact that they saw each other for exactly who they were and just accepted the good, the bad and the dark. There are quite a few obstacles these two have to deal with in this one, okay, that’s an understatement, but they go at them with guns blazing and I loved where they find themselves in the end. This one had ALL the feels, even the sniffly, teary eyed variety, but they were all there. The twists and turns were very well thought out and I’d love to say more about them, but that would spoil the fun for you, so I won’t, but there were a few things even I didn’t see coming. I loved getting to spend some time with Cress, King, LouLou and Daddy Zeus *wipes away the drool while doing the happy sigh thing* (Yes, I still love him best) But outside of the family, Nova has peaked my interest and I kinda, sorta fell in lust/love with Wrath...and after the way things ended I NEED the next book ASAP!Note: While Good Gone Bad can be read as a standalone, I do recommend that you start at the beginning of the series just to get a good feel for the majority of the characters you’ll meet in the book and how they are tied together.~ Copy provided by Enticing Journey & voluntarily reviewed ~

Lion and HR
This book moves in ebbs and flows. I liked HR and Lion and infact really liked Wrath. The book takes you through more club business - some of which was a bit frustrating because it took away from the main love story but also because it was a bit bizarre how they’re meant to be undercover and yet do *nothing* to protect their rouse. Also, there was a fair bit of back and forth between the years with flashbacks into young HR and Lion in the middle of all the undercover police/club business. With all that, it just got very cluttered and broke continuity. Overall though a decent book. Preferred the couple to Zeus and Loulou where the age gap was just too much and became icky as a result

Enjoyed H.R and Danners journey.
Danner and Harleigh Rose, I've been excited for this book for a while. Whilst I enjoyed their story it didn't have an impact on me like Zeus and Lou Lou. I really wanted to love them just as much. I suppose everyone has a favourite couple and they're still mine.It was still a really good read. Full of danger and secrets, loyalty and betrayal. It was none stop action from beginning to end.I really did like HR more than I expected to, she was brave, head strong and willing to do anything to protect the ones she loves.Danner was a revelation the good guy with the dark side. I think he pulled off the balance well. I liked the good guy but loved the bad boy side more. When Danner and HR are together they are explosive. You can't deny their chemistry it is seriously hotttttt!! But its also so much stronger than that and I'm really pleased I felt that connection between them. It felt genuine.I'm excited for more from the Fallen Men. There's one character I'm hoping gets a book. I felt that was left unanswered so there's still hope. He might give Zeus a run for his money....well maybe.

Another amazing read!
This series man, I knew when reading the first one that this would become one of my all time favourites and I was right!Rosie is such a badass, she knows who she is and she doesn't apologise for her strength or the way that it may come out. It's not always pretty and it's not always black and white but she is willing to do anything for the people she loves and I think we can all relate to that in some way!Danner came as a bit of a surprise how rough and dirty he is, he's the type of good character that is a little rough around the edges and questions his own upbringing and morals. Together they make this devastatingly imperfect perfect couple.Giana somehow creates these love stories that all feel epic in their own way and even though they are all on KU, this is one of the few series that after I finish the e-book I buy the paperback because I just can't let go of it!!

Awesome
So I waited a while to read this despite buying it the second I could. I was worried it would live up to the previous two, I had a three day book hangover from Daddy Zeus, I shouldn't of worried Gianna Darling has knocked it out the park again. Couldn't put it down once I started it. Harleigh Rose is beautiful ,broken and complicated but for her family she's everything and they're hers. Danner is , still making my heart beat a little faster just thinking his name !, everything she needs him to be. The plot is so good .Cannot express how much I loved this book.
