My daughter got this to help with the exam, and it did just that. With the help of this book she got a great score on the test which helped her get into the school of her choice.

I'd get the Barron's book instead. With the Barron's book, last year my son used the HSPT practice test to familiarize himself with the kinds of questions that would be asked. Really every kid should be doing something like this before the test so that they will be able to complete the test in the appropriate time. My son's scores were so good he got a partial scholarship at the school he applied to.
