RAM Mounts RAM-111U-B Marine Electronic Mount with Short Arm Compatible with Garmin, Lowrance, Humminbird + More

This worked great to install my Lowrance Elite 9 Ti in my Bass Tracker. All 8 holes line up perfectly. Plenty sturdy to hold the large fish finder with no issues. Glad I didn't buy the similar Scotty model that I saw at BPS. This is much higher quality. Main parts are aluminum on this vs. plastic on the other brand at essentially the same price. Doesn't include hardware but no biggie. Get #8 or #10 by 5/8" long bolts to mount the fish finder bracket and screws for the base and you're good to go.

This was the perfect mount to get my Solix 12 mounted on the bow of my boat and it be higher than my Helix unit. Holes lined up perfectly for the Humminbird bracket! Very well designed and excellent quality. It doesn't move at all when running, even in rough water!

I used this to mount my Garmin 742 chartplotter on my sailboat. The round base mates, without modifying, with a RAM swingout-type mount that I already had installed and used for my old fishfinder that I was replacing. The rectangular base mates with my new chartplotter, also without drilling any holes.This device allows me to tuck my GPS back in its corner inside the cabin out of the way when I’m in port. For sailing, I loosen the knob and raise the GPS for optimum viewing from the cockpit with the RAM arm swung out. All this adjusting takes only a few seconds. It could hardly be more perfect for my needs.And, of course, the RAM quality goes without saying.

I used this to mount a Humminbird Helix 7 to the bow of my Tracker Pro 170. It has been used on water a couple of times and stays rock solid. I plan on getting a Helix 10 for the helm station and will upgrade to a larger RAM mount for it. This particular model would not hold the large Helix models steady in my opinion. This mount was not plug and play as RAM would have you believe. The bolt holes didn't quite line up between the rectangular plate on the mount and the screw holes on the mount of the fish finder. A trip to home depot for some stainless bolt, and nylon insert nuts was all I needed for the hardware. Two holes on one side of the finder bracket lined up fine. A quick drilling of the other two holes through the RAM plate and my finder was in place solid as a rock.

I use this for my boat’s sonar and it works great! I can move it in many different positions and angles.

This aluminum Ram mount is much sturdier than the plastic knock offs, it held my Garmin 93SV very well. However, for the price, I would expect the finish to be better. The neck on the lower mounting ball was stripped of its finish.

Pretty solid fish finder mount, made from cast aluminum with the ball dipped in rubber. Mounted it on an Old Town Sportsman Kayak without any trouble. Mounting bolts and nuts not included, I went with SS #10x24x1” bolts and locking nylon nuts to fit my Garmin mount, and #12x1” SS screws for the hull mounting ball. Used Lexel sealant under the hull mount to prevent water intrusion. Pretty satisfied with this, haven’t tested it yet but will update if there are any issues.

Bought this to use on a Garmin 7607xsv used in a boat tower. The tower has a sloped dash and I wanted the unit angled towards the helm. This required a compound cut to make a block. I happen to be horrible at those. After mounds of sawdust and a few hours of turning big blocks of practice wood and teak to small ones, I bought this mount. It's not quite the look I wanted but it works great and is very solid. The 1.5" ball is plenty strong enough for the 7 Garmin unit. Would buy one again for sure.
