BSN Medical/JOBST-120247 soSoft Knee High Closed Toe Ribbed Brocade Compression Stockings,, Breathable, Extra Soft Legware for Tired and Heavy Legs, Compression Class- 8-15

I bought 6 pairs of the JOBST soSoft Ribbed Knee High Compression stockings in Medium for my mother. As she gradually opened the boxes we have discovered that all of the boxes are labeled correctly. However, 3 of the pairs are clearly boxed incorrectly. They are about 2 inches shorter that the other stockings and the feet are smaller. That may account for the somewhat odd reviews here. Unfortunately, we are stuck with them because the "30 day return window" has closed. I recommend that you check all of the stockings that you order right away!

Site indicated to order by shoe size so I ordered a Medium, which shows it would fit USA shoe size 7-9 for women. Box, as well as sock show they are a size Medium. I can't imagine these fitting a size 9 foot as they cramp my toes. I wear a size 7.5 - 8 women's shoe. The foot area from toes to heal is short and while the fabric does stretch, it really isn't enough. I was expecting compression AROUND my ankle and calf not so much from toes to heal. My toes need more room in order to not be permanently curled. On a positive note, the upper band is wide and comfortable around my calf which is 14" at it's widest. Apparently I should have ordered a size Large.

These socks reached to the middle of my knees and were hurting me, as I have osteoarthritis in my knees. So I pushed them down so they would be below my knees. They then made a deep indentation in my legs and by the end of the one day that I wore them, I was in pain. In addition, they did not prevent my legs or ankles from swelling. These were a disappointment to me.Update — I found that after I washed them they didn't come up quite so high. I have been wearing them with one other brand. I find the Jobst compression sock is the best brand out there for me. I have short legs and they are all high on me, but am happy that this one has become somewhat shorter with washing. I am hoping it will get shorter still. I am purchasing two more pair of these.

I'm giving those we four stars because I was dreading having to wear compression stockings and these are easy to put on. But there are some issues. I bought the sand in an XL which is supposed to fit 11 1/2 to 13. I wear an 11 and I find them comfortable in the calf but the foot length runs small. Another issue is that the toe seam is not smooth, it is rounded and kind of annoying. I think that would be a problem for diabetics. I'm going to try wearing the socks inside out. A toeless version would be nice.

Love these gentle and very soft compression socks. Although the fabric is a bit thick, it is light-weight and I find the socks comfortable in the hottest weather. One caveat - be sure your toe nails are smooth as rough edges catch on internal elastic fibers and the sock's life is thereby terminated or shortened.

I ordered a couple black pairs for my mother. She finds that wearing these knee highs really help with her calf muscles and circulation.

I love these socks. They are by far the best compression socks I've found so far. The band at the top of the sock isn't too tight. The fabric doesn't catch on my scrubs making it look like I'm wearing high waters. The only reason I can't give them 5 stars is that seam sits RIGHT IN FRONT of my toes. No amount of pulling or readjusting will keep it on top of my toes. It does, however, sometimes slide beneath my toes while I'm working, causing discomfort if I can't find time to fix it.

These are perfect for me; the fit is great, they're not difficult to get on, and by the end of the daym my ankle has not spilled out over my shoe. I will be buying more.
