Does this powder contain silica?

The first ingredient listed (above), is “talc”. Talc is what J & J used, for many, many decades, in their Baby Powder (you know, the stuff probably almost ALL of us got our bums covered with several times a day for our first 2-4 years of life), that contains the “asbestos-like” fibers in it, which we now know can be carcinogenic. I’m sure you’ve seen the commercials on TV regarding the Class Action Suit. J & J has now switched to corn starch instead. If you are concerned about such things, I encourage you to do some further research (from LEGITIMATE, authoritative, science-based institutions—NOT every Tom, Dick & Don on Facebook!) so you can be an informed consumer and choose your makeup products accordingly.

How exactly to use this? if i have another mineral powder i use daily in a light ivory color would i use green powder on top of or under other one.

Hello, we recommend to use this item alone or underneath the light ivory color. The green finish is supposed to cancel out redness.
