MyLine Eco baby play mat (Super Large, 78.7''x70.9''x3/5'') (Sea World/Animal ABC)

I first saw this mat about six months ago, but it sold out in the design I wanted. I kept checking back until I found it back in stock last month. For those wondering the difference between the Eco mat and the Extra Thick mat, the Eco has a heat sealed edge, and the Extra Thick has a brown binding around the edge. They don't do a good job of showing this in the images, but I noticed it in the descriptions and that's why I wanted the Eco mat.The size and shape are ideal. It's huge compared to most playmats, and I love that it's almost square (not long and skinny). The thickness provides perfect cushioning and the foam is safe for our wood floors. My daughter is able to play with her large toys on it. She also likes looking at and touching the designs. The image is just as pictured. The surface is textured, so it's not too slippery. It's also pretty easy to clean with wipes. I wouldn't say it's unrippable, but it is very sturdy and we haven't had any problems yet.

This mat is perfect for our North States super yard. I have wooden floors so this mat help protect my son’s hands and knees as he’s learning to walk. He really adores the pattern and feel of the mat. Cleaning it is a bit annoying as everything pools into the little square crevices but I don’t allow any food or drink on it so it’s not as bad as it could be.

I am writing this review after 4 years. I bought it when I had my twins in. 2016. I had another baby in 2018. I still have it, without a scratch on it. It’s great to play on. The different pictures on it makes it for for parents to teach new things around the mat. There’s animals, balloons, alphabets which make it very easy to instantly come up with a quick activity around it.In terms of durability- well I had it for 4+ years, and it’s still great!Bright, colorful and eye- catching!

No smell, No smell, No smell!!! With a super sensitive nose, I really hesitate to purchase any play mat due to plastic smell. This one is recommended by my friend and I am so glad it has no smell at all. I feel safe to let my 4 months old baby to play on that all the time. My friend's 3 and 5 years old boys love this too and they are busy for counting ducks and stars on the mat. This mat is also large and well cushioned. Guess I will purchase another one when the baby gets bigger and needs more space to crawl.

The mat is extremely vibrant in colors and the cushion if very comfortable even for an adult crawling around on their knees while playing with a baby. The package arrived rolled up in its own cover which can be saved for later storage. I expected a smell that would need to be aired out based on the other reviews. I was pleasantly surprised to discover absolutely no smell whatsoever. My seven month old was immediately engaged by the colors and will sit and play on the floor much longer than he did when I had just a blanket over the carpet. I would recommend this mat to a friend.

IT'S JUST THAT "OK" TAKES FOREVER TO FLATTEN AND MINE HAS HOLES IN IT ALREADY AND I AM NOT SURE HOW WITH JUST THE BABY AND HIS TOYS. NOT VERY DURABLE. I WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN. DISSAPOINTED

Finally a mat for hard wood floors that is also safe for the baby (non-toxic and has no smell)! It is really big, so it gives a lot of room for a baby that rolls around and tries to craw. It is easy to clean. I ordered the Animal School ABC mat particularly because of the pictures (I know there are a couple other cheaper mats on Amazon also by the same company but I didn't like the pictures on them). Shipping was really fast. I don't know what else to say. My baby love it and I love it!

A great play mat for our 9 month old grandson who has been using it since he was about 5 months old and could sit up. My daughter in law has two of them and put a plastic play fence around it and it has become a super large play pen in her home. We now have two also and it keeps him from having to sit and crawl and learn to walk on the hardwood floor.
