This African black soap is as natural as it gets, and it’s become a must-have in my skincare routine. I’ve used different brands, but this one feels the most authentic and least processed, which is exactly what I wanted.The cleanse is deep without stripping my skin, and you don’t need to rub the bar directly on your skin. I break off a small piece, lather it in my hands, and apply the foam instead. It works for face, body, and even hair if you’re into that. Since it’s raw, there are tiny particles in it, so if you rub it directly on your skin, you’re getting an exfoliation whether you planned for it or not.I’ve seen noticeable improvements in my skin clarity, and it’s great for acne-prone skin if you use it consistently. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for an all-natural, no-nonsense cleanser.Five stars, no question.

Reading these reviews Where people are stating that there are human hair in the soap… Do you even do research on a product before you purchase it? The ingredients in the soap are RAW !! Plantain bark and Cocoa pod husks have hair like strands. It also clearly states DO NOT RUB on face . Why? Because there are RAW rough bits and pieces . For those who are saying it’s scratched their face or there’s a “rock” in the bar, etcUse Commen sense . Lather it , use every other day if you’re new to this type of soap, listen to your skin , it takes time to get used to a product until you have a routine down that only your skin is used to. Everyone’s skin is different . Diet , hydration, hereditary conditions , lifestyle, etc all play a roleBefore any product completely starts working , you need to be consistent. Also, your skin will purge in the beginning because1. New product to your regime2. This is a completely natural soap without chemicals3. After 30 days of being consistent , my perioral dermatitis is gone , acne scars lightened , skin texture has never been better . It took a few days in thebeginning to figure out how many times to use it , and how best to use it , that worked for my own skinAt first I over washed , over exfoliated , over did it wanting to rush the process . I went through the stage where it felt like it was stinging my face , and drying it . But after trial and error , time and patience, research and “listening” to my skin, & getting a routine in place , my face looks great !!

I've used different African black soaps over the years for about a decade now and it has done wonders for my skin with keeping it clear, toned, and youthful. Wouldn't recommend using this everyday though (maybe every other) because its gives such a deep exfoliating cleanse to prevent any possible irritation and MOISTERIZE after. Great product

Wonderful, wonderful soap, it has managed to clear most of the dark spots on my face and has consistently eliminated pimples and zits. I am prone to acne, right now I currently have nine small pimples spread out across my face. This is actually a bliss, because most of the time I wouldn't have tiny zits or pimples but instead large grotesque one. I am a Black American, with a parent of Haitian descent. The darkest parts of my facr are my forehead and my chin. This soap has gradually and subtlety even out those two areas. I am loving the change. The biggest downside is that you have to use the soap off and on otherwise your skin will get used to it. Your skin will not be as bad as before with this soap but in a better state. It just will not be effective as it was initially. I've been using this soap, and no other since May 27th. I might buy another soap to alternate between the two. Another downside, is the dryness, your skin will sting and redness will show if you used the soap daily like I did. Make sure to use a good toner, serum, and face lotion in order to receive lots of moisture. Overall, regardless of these two flaws this soap is a keeper. I will be ordering more once I run out. Hopefully, the effective spike I was experiencing will return with a little break.

I purchased this African Black Soap back in March 2023, and I wanted to wait until I use the product in its entirety to make a review.So I have acne-prone skin on my face, arms, and chest area. I have tried Proactive, Differin (too strong), CeraVe, Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, and none of them have seemed to work for me. After the first month and a half I did start to notice I did not break out as often and I did not have as many bumps that popped up. The acne scars on my chest and arms had begun to fade with minimal acne breakouts.I have dark underarms from years of shaving and it has lightened my underarms as well... (I used this soap consistently morning and evening followed by Vitamin C Serum and African Shea Butter)Basically, this is an ALL IN ONE soap.This is the beginning of August 2023, and I just ran out, so the soap lasts a long time. I do NOT recommend using the soap directly on your skin because it has small particles that WILL cause scaring. I would also recommend placing the soap in a container to prevent from getting wet when it's not in use.The smell is very earthy and not overpowering. I love that this soap is authentic and there are no artificial fragrances.
