This is a very dangerious light for those that do not know the dangers of UV. This is not a black light. This flashlight has a focusing lens that will focus the cob on a wall 6 feet away at 7x magnification. It's good for curing glue and solder mask quickly but DO NOT turn this on without UV glasses on first. This will give you welders itch like you have sand in your eyes for a couple of days. Be aware of other people or pets in the room when turning this on. This light will cause eye damage every split second you are not protecting them. This is focused enough to cause skin cancer if you use it a lot. I modified it to only light inside a contained crate to cure my items. Yes it's that dangerious. This is why you should not put UV cobs in a housing not meant for them. Works very well when all precautions are taken.

If you want to see white t-shirts. And random lint. This is the flashlight for you. IT DOES NOT ILLUMINATE CAT PISS. I checked on a spot I knew was cat piss and just saw the bastard do it on a sweater. And nothing the white hoddie string was all that was bright and noticeable. Its a 395 nm not a 365 which is advertised in the title of the product. Also the battery dies in a very short amount of time.

Wollte unbedingt eine mit niedriger Wellenlänge. Je niedriger desto mehr sieht man die Fluoreszenz im Verhältnis zur Helligkeit des Lichtes von der Lampe. Die 395 nm sieht man noch relativ gut mit dem Auge (im ganz dunklen Raum), die 365 nm sind schon schwieriger. Aber dafür ist halt die Fluoreszenz wie gesagt bei 365 nm stärker/besser.Praktisch ist der Fokus. Man kann den Lichtkegel breit oder (fast)punktförmig machen. Ich lass es immer auf Punkt. Mit Teleskop-Funktion verschiebt man da so ne Linse im Inneren, daher der Fokus. Es hat 2 LEDs als Lichtquellen. Ich vermute mal eine für jede WL. Ne echte "Glühbirne" /Kathodenlampe wäre natürlich viel intensiver aber das wäre zu teuer und aufwendig.Es tut aufjedenfall. So wie ich gedacht habe. Chemiker. Kenne mich mit UV Strahlung etwas aus.

Bought this to cure UV gel nail polish and it works really well! Its not a flashlight at all--i haven't tested it in the dark yet and my dog doesn't have indoor accidents to I can't test that function either, but it made my white shirt and my pink polish really glow, so I do think it'll work as expected for the non-nail-polish uses.
