A removal nut? Yellow comic sans font? What beautiful soul engineered this?
Picture this: you're under your bike. You've drained the oil, it's on your hands, you pop the drain plug back in and get ready to fill it back up. But OH WAIT, you forgot to change the oil filter you silly. No matter, you have a few extras so you go over to the shelf in your garage and grab one. Filter in hand, you waltz back to the bike feeling pleased with yourself. You get back on the ground and look at the old oil filter, you haven't removed it yet, remember? You grab it with your oily hands, and it laughs at you. You grab your crappy autozone filter wrench that you bent last time you had to remove a filter. It doesn't work, it just bends more. You go to autozone, get one of those gigantic socket type filter removers. This doesn't work, not because it wouldn't, but because you bought the wrong size, because you didn't know what the correct size was, because you couldn't get the effin' filter off the damn bike to bring with you and check. Now seething, you choose to express your anger by verbally abusing the oil pan for leaking, which can't help it because it has a crack in it because you stepped on it once. So you grab a screwdriver. Ohhhh buddy, you're going to get that damn filter off now. You crack a twisted grin and drive it clean through the filter with a hammer. You grab hold of handle and push it counter clockwise, which rather than spinning the filter off, instead opens the filter like a can opener. What knuckle-dragging gibnut installed this thing?! Congratulations, you now have a permanently broken, and permanently installed oil filter. You know what would have made this all a bit easier? If some genius thought to weld a nut on the outside of it so that an actual human being could, you know, remove it, since it is a part that regularly needs to be removed. That would make sense, right? It's almost even a good idea, right?Well these geniuses, and I say that without sarcasm, welded a nut onto their filter so that actual human beings could, you know, remove it. This idea is so brilliant and so simple that it should be a criminal offense for oil filters to NOT have this feature. It makes so much sense it is almost laughable. Seriously, I laughed out of joy the first time installing one. I could write a book about it how great it is.This oil filter also features awesome yellow font reminiscent of comic sans, spelling out the word "racing" which, come on---that's cool, a little bit of fun right? A little bit of peacocking. This appeals to the ironic and shallow sense of humor I apparently have due to being a millennial. This filter is of a very high quality in every measurable way. Buy this filter and never shout at your oil pan again.

Hi Flo is highly recommended aftermarket
Perfect fit and quality plus the bolt head to remove filter

Great fit
Good option for an F800GT - fit and finish looks top notch, seems to be a very high quality replacement part.

My go-to motorcycle oil filters
I use these filters for my Kawasaki and BMW motorcycles. Never a problem, high quality, and the integrated nut lets me keep the lower cowling on my Kawasaki when changing filters.

Works Well - Highly Recommended
I did my research prior to buying. There's several different filters that will fit my BMW. I like how this one has a thick outer skin and has the nut welded to the top. Buying from this vendor is probably the best deal you'll find...and you'll get a top rated filter in the process.

Good quality.
Good filter but the fit is not accurately described. The screw on nut fitting must be cut off to fit onto bike behind the shift lever

Value and convenience
More convenient than trying to get to the Motorcycle dealership. The 17mm nut makes it a snap to remove. I never more than hand tighten when installing.
