The bad reviews saying it’s nearly impossible to get the LED strip through as intended are correct. However, I took an exacto knife to the side which I intended to face towards the wall in order to make a slit I could slip the LED strip through. Once I did that, it was so easy! And they are great at diffusing the light.

This product does not work. The inside of the silicon has a wide cut-out for the strip with an additional groove where the lights can fit. The groove is on the opaque side so the lights do not shine through. If you flip the light strip over, the strip does not fit into the product.

So bought this diffuse to make it easier to install my LED strip on to my walls to created less damage with the LED light and honestly this diffuser is perfect. You get what you pay, with a lower cost, the channel does not diffuse the light equally unlike the higher ends ones and the LED dots are still visible (as per the pictures) . So if you're looking for more a diffuser that equally diffuses the LED strip, this is not for you. Although if you're like me and looking for protection, and easy & reusable installation system for your LED, then honestly this is great. There's a string that goes threw the 16ft channel that you tie to your lights. With the help of a buddy takes like a minute to calmly bring it from one end the other. Recommend definitely!

Impossible to feed lights through, especially those with joints in. Very tight fit. Ended up ruining the lights in the process
