There are so many constructive suggestions throughout the book that build your faith, and they are all based on lots of scripture. This book is so good! It's biblically based on the promises of God.He teaches and encourages you in life-changing ways. It will help you no matter where you are in life or what type of abundance you're looking for. His suggestions even got me memorizing scripture now like I've never done before and so quickly. I'm amazed. I recommend this book highly, along with all his books and music. I bought the audible to listen while doing other things and to narrate along as I read. His voice is so genuine you can just tell how much he truly cares and believes in Jesus. Listening and reading along really helps me absorb the message. I couldn't put it down and will refer back to this book often.One day I was searching for his website, and I came across a website that said he was a new ager. There is nothing new age about Joshua and Janet Mills, his books, or their music. Just the opposite, everything is backed up right out of the Bible.I'm a Bible-based Christian and always check out who and what I read or listen to against scripture. They are the real deal!I love their music, and many songs either go along with the books or stand alone and compliment them. The music takes you further and sets the atmosphere in a way I have never experienced before. It's so soothing. You can feel the presence of God come upon you as you soak in the music. I even play their instrumental songs for my dogs, and they mellow right out during thunderstorms or fireworks. I live in a subdivision across from a big ballpark with fireworks at least 10 times in the summer and noticed by accident how calm my dogs became when I just happened to be listening to their music.Joshua and Janet are precious Christians, and their creative insight has been a blessing in bringing me closer to God in a supernatural way that Jesus wanted for us since the beginning. I only wish I would have found them sooner.

well written and easy to understand

I bought this as the airport at a low time. I rarely read despite owning MANY books. I also rarely write reviews.I didn't know the first thing about spirituality but at my lowest I guess I felt I'd give almost anything a try - people seem to find solace from God or 'spirituality' so I thought I'd give it a shot (lol). I'm not suddenly a "Christian" as I still need to explore that term in practice (what it means to me), versus taking another's opinion, but I feel strongly connected to "god" for the first time. Historically, spiritual content I'd read had been awful, judgmental, or felt like I had to be someone I wasn't. Not this one.Not only did this give me a sense of centering and of inner faith, but it answered many of my existential questions. I return to this book constantly and always feel awesome. Weirdly enough, I started getting physical shivers/ goosebumps when I read aloud specific items or affirmations that felt important to learn or ask for. I have no clue even now why this happens, but I know it's just goodness.Past the first few chapters I stopped reading it linearly, instead reading when I felt I needed to by scanning to find the inner challenge of that moment. I cannot recommend this enough and sent a copy to my mother for her birthday. I also purchased Seeing Angels as before now I thought they were a metaphor but the goosebumps make me feel this is absolutely worth exploring. It seems really mad to not keep learning at this point as I'm so different in myself.There's a bad review from someone - I empathize as yes it seems the solutions to the financial challenges are things like finding money on the ground lmao. I also have debt from moving recently so that chapter wasn't my fave lol. But there is so much more than that in this book and thank goodness for it. It tells you what to aim for, and how not to feel shitty in the meanwhile. It offers inner solutions to being in a hard or impossible seeming place while you get time to recover and reorganize - no guilt or blame.I believe the intention is to say that we need not live in fear, but can have inner faith. I feel it's the only option unless you want to be a victim forever, and I'm so over that. With this inner faith comes happiness and fun, and tons of nice things internally. When you interact with other people with this ability, others are more drawn to you and you lift them up with you. It enables good (if not lucky) things to happen more frequently. When you're depressed and angry all the time every day is a struggle - I should know. Had I read this when not in a hard time, it would probably have been lost on me too so it's also about intention - which is basically the point of the book!
